Looking around the boards over the past while, especially in the 'bitching about Canada' string, I saw the repeated idea that America is the 'number 1' country these days. I just wondered how many people think that here - do all the Americans think it, does anyone not American think it etc? I'm not necessarily saying I disagree - I just wanted to provoke a little debate away from Dragonmanster's 'I see dead people' assertions and the usual idle racism. |

But I don't think we are "all that" that our leaders make us out to be. (FoCKING president doesn't care about anything but oil. Ba$tard.) I think we are powerful - too powerful - and that a lot of other countries resent us and hate us for that, and because we are so egotistical. |
