If you like, you can argue that you're glad Saddam's gone (although Iraq's no better off, 681 American soldiers are dead, and our treasury is now bankrupt), but there is no 9/11 connection there.

From what I can gather from the American sentiments posted on this forum, the best country in the world is the one that destroys all the other ones. Isn't that mentality a little barbaric? I mean it seems that the majority of Americans posting here have little to no grasp of their own language and rely on propaganda they have gathered from their own ignorant masses. There is something severely disturbing about the egocentric psyche of the predominately illiterate and uninformed Americans since they feel it's their obligation to be the worlds policeman. If us Canadian's peeked out of our hypothetical blindfolds as infrequently as Americans have, we would probably be loathed by the rest of the world as well. I'm sure you probably disregard the fact that the rest of the world hates you and instead point out some obsolete fact regarding how you are a necessity for some other nation survive. Frankly, I haven't heard of any nations coming to beg for your help lately and I would be shocked if any other nation felt it was in their best interest to have even a loose alliance with you. Granted you maintain previous alliances at this point, but if those nations heeded public sentiments regarding that alliance I'm sure they would back out. Now, since I live in a country that you haven't decided to destroy yet, I know it might be hard for you to reply to this without resorting to child-like violence. My advice is to do just a little bit of research (preferably in a scholarly journal or otherwise reliable text instead of asking Jeeves) and report back with some information to support your flimsy anti-Canadian stance.

I hate people who through obviously no education in the areas of a discussion have nothing more to do then bash on useless parts of it. If you can actually contribute some relevant information to the discussion maybe someone will actually care about what you say. Dear FinarFin, Yes, American soldiers died in the war, but amazingly thats what happens when you go to war, they joined the army knowing they might someday have to go to war, their paid for it, and so some died, it happens. The rest is too ridiculous to discuss, most of all about the treasury being bankrupt. Dear Chalkie, I agree about legalizing marijuana, but then again I dont really care what happens involving it. The majority of people dont smoke marijuana, just thought youd like to know that fact. And you dont have to follow our laws and ideals, even though we are the number one country, and copying us is just a show of how smart a country is. Oh, and its true we dont give a **** what 90% of the world thinks, because what they think doesnt effect us, but what we think effects you, so dont act like such a moron, and think before you say something. Dear Dr. Zhivago, Arent you an angry little fellow, personally countries who are weak such as your own would obviously despise a country which you so eloquently put, as being barbaric, but thats just ignorance, And the countries we are allies with, want to be our allies, through us is the greatest possibility for profit, and money rules the world, youre a full to think our allies dont want to be with us. Personally I would like The US, Russia and China to form an alliance that way we could rule the world more completely, but I dont see that happening. Any country would love to be our allies, and every country fears the idea of becoming our enemy. This month is already the bloodiest month of the war yet, in terms of American soldier deaths, and it's not even half over (the month, that is). Yes, the deaths are unsurprising, and yes, they knew the risk. You're missing my point. What I'm saying is the deaths, taken with the many other costs of the war, make it unjust. What I said about the treasury being bankrupt was a mistake. What I meant to say is that Bush, with the war and the tax cuts for the wealthy, has caused our record surplus to become a record deficit.

I agree finarfin that wasn't one of my better posts, and your exactly right. I think if our nations combine and put our ideas together (except Aurora and Dr. Zhivago they suck) we can make a really decent place to live full of happiness, respect, and legalized drugs. We shouldn't be bashing each-other, what we should be bashing is places like Afganistan and Iraq (a.k.a. the scum of the Earth) they're the ones who make the rest of the world ****ty.

But the issue of war itself, is a point of view thing, to you it may seem immoral, to others it may not, so that was merely your opinion. But this is all about the negative aspects of the US, with no comparison to canada, so I dont really understand whats your argument.

Fluffybutt, Ahh, but you've made a fundamental error, you've assumed that the statement I made about China the US and Russia was not based on fact, well you're wrong, not only is this plainly visible as possible in the effect it would have, a lot of people have mentioned this sort of alliance, sometimes they have it on those discussions in CNN or Fox News or other similar channels, though of course dissent to the idea is inevitable, but to call it ridiculous just shows a very poor amount of knowledge in the area. You seem to always be scrutinizing small useless aspects of the conversation, and I have not seen you add anything relevant to it at all. Love, Sure

Our country has only made 3 imperialistic actions in our history. Allthough it does posess the military and resorses to be a real player in any major war. And that goes to a few of our heads. I would say that I have a quasi coherent grasp on my language and if you didnt realize you speak it as well. So being as this is a comedic web page. I usually am here drunk and or stoned, so I don't take time to be proficient with my posts. Besides you are to wordy. Take your vast knowledge of the English language and intellect to a web page that isn't based around cartoons written on flash, (no offense Todd). I would continue writing about you but I don't really have the time. I could never finish. I'll just sum it up in one word, Douche About the war. I would back it up any day of the week. If there was a 5% chance that they had WMD`s I would want the troops there. Because there is a 5% chance that I wont wake up in the morning. I believe there lives died for the greater good of our nation. And I see the ones who died as hero's. It wasn't necessarily about the buildings. But that did get the war bug in everyone. And then the accusations and what have you pushed it over the top. I feel if there is reasonable doubt than act on it. I am pro war 100% this time.

The fact is, Fluffybutt is commenting on important parts of the conversation. It is completely relevant that you have poor English skills, as it detracts from any valid point you may have. And I have to agree with her about how stupid you sound proposing a China Russia alliance. You do realize that the US is not on the best of terms with those countries right? Maybe americans would like to get in on that alliance, but I think those countries will be choosing to go it themselves. OOO maybe Russia can go back to communism, and then Russia and China can pair up in an alliance. That is odd.. why would an american want to team up with a communist country? On a whole you seem so against the idea. Hmm, I guess it just goes to show power is more important than morals. Which is again, why I would never want to have the same role models as you.
