I'm not sure how it works in other states, but it worked well when I was away at college (North Florida) and now (Central Florida). All the other companies I have had experiences with... suck... big time.

And from what I found, it is the cheapest on with the most minutes. 400 anytime, 1600 night/weekend for 29.99. Get a signal in Vegas, on the beach in Frisco. Only place I didn't have service so far was on the mountain at Snowshoe. One negative, not as good selection of flip phones compared with other service providers.
