Secure Anonyms

Has anyone else been wondering why tOdd doesn't let us use password encrypted screen names? If someone wants to go incognito like dmsucky or what have you, they can get another name that isn't already being used by the regular posters. I was thinking like a 'login' link right on the homepage so that he could: a. see how many people regularly visit his site by counting the registered users and: b. avoid deceptive simpletons who really think that they are fooling everybody by stealing names.

Come on DMSucks; take me down! My name is Aurora, NikAshmost, Dave, Matt, Dr. Z, OddTodd... you get the point you fool! Nice word choice DMsucks, "floccinaucinihilipilification" it so represents the actions you have taken to deface the board. You are a champion of fools.

Also Todd, I think this problem is echoed on the other boards, with identity thieves. Granted I understand that anyone can create a false identity for his or her moniker but still there is an identity we associate with the moniker.

This board doesn't require logins. Which is fine. If the kids wanna play around & get their kicks. Fine by me.

I tend to post more regularly on Todd's other boards. Where you can get a login & password protected identity. Of course, these are still occasionally copied with names that use the letters l/I and what not. But it's far better than this unsupervised, unstoppable mess.

And yes, it also tracks IP addy's. Todd can look them up if someone's being nothing but a pure pointless A-hole, and ban them. It's rare, but a nice safeguard against idiot kids.

So again, have your fun kiddies(you know who you are). This board is really just the red-headed stepchild of OT.com
