Do your own thing

If you like the sandals, I say wear them. As soon as you stop wearing them, you will be walking down the street in your sneakers or whatever feeling all coolio and hip and you will over hear some hot girl behind you say that nothing turns her on more than a nice hairy pair of size 13 in some birks! And then you will turn around with a big goofy smile on your face and try to tell her that you really wear them all the time and she will look at you like you just tried to lure her into a slowly moving car with candy, and thats no good.

Sandals RULE

I like people who wear sandals, male or female. I mean, it's hot out, and you don't want to risk having smelly, sweaty feet if you're going into someone's place and you are required to remove your footwear.

Like, plus, if you're poolside or on the beach, what is dorkier than the dude wearing whiter-than-white athletic shoes and white tube socks as he unfolds his A-Team towel and drops his shorts to reveal his beer-belly-topped speedos? NOTHING.

So, I say go with the sandals. I mean, they're comfy and so what if people mistake your feet for those of a hippie? I mean, they had some good ideas way back when. (And granola bars are GOOD, too.)
