sandals are fine. Most important thing is to have nice clean feet and trimmed toenails. There ain't nothing nastier than toejam, and dirty long toenails. ewww

Gotta agree with the toenial thing! I'm not such a big fan of feet to begin with, but clean, neat, trimmed-toenail feet are better then skanky feet. You know, they have pedicures for men! :-) As far as the birks go, they're comfy, there's functional, what more do you need?? Keep 'em!

I agree that if you are going to wear sandals you must keep your feet clean and your toenails clipped. But you don't HAVE to get a pedicure. Unless you have a boat load of money.
