The reason so many pets get euthanized is pet lovers who cant bear to force their animal to get spayed/neutered and then the pet gets loose gets laid and has puppies, which overpopulates, and forces the "humane" execution of animals. Granted, people who dont care at all kinda suck...but people who care too much are just as much at fault. |

If people decide that they "care too much" to spay or neuter, that's fine, but then they have to take responsibility for their actions and understand that their cat/dog may very well get knocked up, or knock up every female in the neighborhood (belonging to their "caring" neighbors), or their female may wake up one morning with a uterus full of pus, so that the $300 spay they "cared" to much to do is not emergency middle of the night surgery costing $1300. to those people who don't want pets- ok. that's your choice, but those who adopt or buy pets and then decide to ditch them or euthanize them aren't taking responsibility for their decision either. it's not about caring, it's about responsibility. but my only point was intended to be that it'd take a lot more than a measley $12,176.97 to get my animals away from me. |
