RE: 150 Miles Away

I didnt say $12,000.00 a year would COVER college. I'm paying $35,000.00 (UCS). But regardless of how much I'm paying, $12 grand would still be a nice chunk I wouldnt have to pay.

Wow, you guys didn't go in with your heads on right lol. Should have knocked out all your core classes and any others you could in a community college where a full schedule will only cost you about 2-3k a year. I ended up spending 30K for an associates degree and that was a total waste. Any college that charges more than 12K/year is full of **** and is just a "buy your way in" college.

Yeah I am not going to school, I mean david. think about it. 36K a year for collage. lets just say that you get an aweseome job because of your schooling (wich is getting harder and harder to do). How long is it going to take for you to make that money back over just working a regular job with out over a 100K worth of debt?

RE: 150 Miles Away

its C-O-L-L-E-G-E.

A collage is "An artistic composition of materials and objects pasted over a surface, often with unifying lines and color".

But then again, maybe you go to art school?

Well spelling police its ben determaned that dragonmaster cant spell and I dont really give a phuck. So your talking into deaf ears. Besides the only person that misspelled the word that is going to collage is dragon. And it will not be critical to his career to be able to spell that word.

I will be looking for my ticket in the mail

RE: 150 Miles Away

Actually, your school debts dont go away when you die. They get put on next in family line. Read over possibilities for temporary defferment, one is that the leinholder dies, so the person who has to take that debt on can defer usually up to a year or two. They still have to pay it all though. And BTW word for the wise, college now is a bad idea if you arent in the field already. Companies want unschooled people for entry level positions, and for positions requiring experience, you need 5 years of experience in a related field OR 3 years with a bachelors (sp) degree. If you dont have the real world experience in that job, but have the college education, you wont get a job. This coming from a guy who got an associates in elctronics (supposedly the understaffed field with unlimited job openings, which mysteriously all of those "unlimited" jobs have between 100 and 4,000 applicants each. actual cases im referring to here) and i got a job at a blockbuster, a movie theatre, and a couple temp jobs, none in my field. Get internships, saves you money and gets that experience which companies desire. Okay, enough rambling but seriously, take my words of caution to heart.

True for the most part, but some like the Stafford are "forgiven" in the case of death.
