(everyone knows that)On offense he could never be shut down no matter how many people were on him. Same as Kobe. Both players take amazing shots, they know how to control the ball when driving in the lane, and both can finish really good. Kobe and Jordan almost have the same technique when dunking or driving or shooting. So to me they are like to brothers from the same mom born to play basketball! |

Tracy in the 2002-2003 season did avg 32.1 points but Kobe avg 30 and that was with Shaq and other great players. Who the hell was on Orlando that Tracy had to pass the ball to? Kobe is the better player in the end. His defense is better than Tracy's and he is better in clutch situations. Kobe for M.V.P. lakers in the playoffs where they belong! |

If you look at tapes of Jordan and tapes of Kobe you see that they are like twins. Both have a great shot, can drive to the basket, hit the clutch shot, shut down great players, and play with 110% effort. People say Kobe is a ball hog. Firstly this is not a true statement. If the traingle offense was designed where Kobe had the ball all time than yes. The fact is the ball is in other players hands but they are not aggressive enough. They are too timid sometimes. Jordan and Kobe cannot be compared against eachother. Kobe is Kobe and Jordan is Jordan. However, seeing as Jordan retired twice Kobe will most likely become the better player. Look at his season this year. Or at least they will be equal by the time Kobe retires. |

Looking at statistics this year and career wise Kobe has the advantage. This year he avg 10 points more a game (big difference) they avg the same amount of ast practically (Kobe's 4.7 vs McGradys 4.9) Kobe avgs more steals and leads McGrady in fg, 3pt and freethrow %. Kobe has proven over his career to be a more clutch player. Not that McGrady is not but Kobe has stepped up to the plate more. true that Kobe has three rings BUT he would not have them if it wasn't for Shaq and vice versa. Tracy however hasn't made a dent in the playoffs And he has Yao Ming who is way better than Chris Mihm! Defensively Tracy has the advantage with his length but Kobe shuts down players on a consistant basis. And the last fact is if you watch the Lakers Houston games or Lakers Magic games Kobe stats are better. So in the end both players are very alike but Kobe is the superior player when you look at the facts. |

Obviously this Idiot doesn't know anything about basketball or sports in general. I'm not a Kobe Bryant fan or anything, but the guy is a god when it comes to basketball. You have to give credit where credit is do. Kobe Bryant does it at both end of the floor. The guy has three rings, and T-max hasn't even win a playoff series yet... So get off Kobe Bryant's ass, and Instead hating on him, maybe you should sit down and watch in action, you might learn a thing or two. Don't get me wrong t-mac is a great player, but he's nothing compare to Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant will be one of the greatest player to ever play the game of basketball by the time he retires, if not the greatest. So shot your chops and stop hating on greatness. |

Tracy McGrady is a show stopper he has shown it these last games that he has stunned crowds with his amazing shots over anyone, how can anyone say that T-Mac is not a show stopper he scored 13pts in 35seconds has kobe done that? have you noticed when Kobe hits a game winning shot he ALWAYS has a player right underneath the basket but he just wants to hit the shot so he can say i won the game and i'm good. T-Mac will not do that he will think of his team first he takes good shoots unlike kobe who takes 30 in a game you should never take 30 shots in a game and miss less than half. Everyone says that kobe is a ball hog and he is Tracy McGrady is not he moves the ball around and he gets alot of great assists the only reason that kobe might get more assists is cause he just has to pass the ball sometimes he just takes so many shots and misses them that he just has to pass well i think that Tracy McGrady is better.
