| Posted By: Adrienne & Patrol Posted On: Jun 24, 2004 Views: 1787 | PZI Just wanted to add, I don't have a set amount of time to use up the PZI, but I don't really use it to the last drop either. I've found that once it really starts getting down to the dregs it gets a bit more concentrated no matter how well I've been mixing it. Anyone else finding this? I try to get a new bottle when there's about 1/4 bottle left, and save the old bottle in case of emergency (i.e. breakage of newer bottle). |

| Posted By: Debra & Care Bear Posted On: May 28, 2004 Views: 1916 | Insulin usage I'd love to be able to use Humulin L to the last drop in the bottle, but I've found that it poops out (for me here in NC) around 3 to 4 months after opened. I keep it refrigerated, and use syringes just once. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to help it last until the bottle is empty? Thanks! |
| Posted By: Anne & French Fry Posted On: May 28, 2004 Views: 682 | Different Humulins? I got different results with L than U. L seemed to crap out btwn 30-60, while U seems to be lasting around 100 days or so. Wondering if others have experienced different longevity with different humulins too? |
