I was just speaking the truth. I told you a long time ago how I feel about your waiting to be reunited with your love, but if I put my head in a romance novel or a fairy tale, it IS a very sweet and noble deed, and not strange at all. And, on a side note... don't think you're not hot just because you're overweight. If YOU think you're a hottie, you will become what you believe. Good friends (like Christina... I don't think she was being sarcastic by saying you are a hottie) can help you boost your self image, but it mainly has to come from within you. Don't let society's stupid stigmas dictate how you view yourself. You know yourself better than I know you, but from what I know, you're an alright guy; a very good person, and I'm sure you're quite hot on the inside as well as the outside. (There are a few women who don't judge their love interests on looks, rather they judge on personality, talents, sense of humor, and many other non-shallow qualities.) Don't sell yourself short. And one more note: Have you tried low carbs? I know being a baker, it would be a nightmare trying to stay away from sugar, but you can use sugar substitutes in a lot of things for yourself, and learn not to sample the sugar things you make for others (took me a while to do that). It's the easiest diet I've ever been on, and it works. I've lost 65 lbs so far. It just takes a little will power, and the willingness to cook your own food, which I know you already do. |
