Regardless of whatever any of you Claybashers say, the All Around sweetest, kindest, most caring and talented artist from American Idol will always be Clay Aiken! I admit that many of the finalists from all seasons have lots of talent - I love Kelly and Fantasia and like most of the others, but the person that you can truly admire in EVERY way is Clay Aiken. (He is also the only one who hasn't let the limelight change him - I thought Kelly and Kimberly Locke were sweet/innocent, but their images have changed.) Clay gives so much back and is not concerned about all the glamour and fame. If any of you have taken the time to read his book (extremely inspirational and heartfelt) or follow his efforts (not only with his foundation, but with many, many other multiple charities and causes), maybe you would give him a break and see him for the angel who he really is instead of wasting your time writing so many negative lies about him. All of us who love and support Clay, know the man for the beautiful selfLESS person that he is, with the gorgeous voice. As for the ridiculous claims about his sexual preferences and the song "Invisible", etc. - Find out the facts before making misguided false statements. Why does Clay's sex appeal seem to threaten everyone(yes, he is VERY sexy, but mostly because of his pure innocence and loving nature)- By the way, Clay did not write the lyrics for Invisible, it was selected for him along with all the other songs on his album; and, if you had a clean mind like Clay, that song would not faze you, it would just be another upbeat love song, which by the way is much more decent than the majority of other songs out on the radio (which unfortunately is probably why it, along with most of Clay's other "descent" songs, did not get much airplay). Some of you joke about the "Claymates defending Clay", but what do you expect when this Christlike person with the HUGE heart is constantly being put down? He doesn't deserve it - He is an excellent role model, and if anything should be praised for trying to make a positive difference in this world. Clay you will forever be my favorite American Idol finalist and favorite artist/person in the industry - keep on being yourself, and don't let the pressure of the naysayers ever change you! You will always have my heart! |
