my neighbor wears his shorty bathrobe, sans anything else, he feeds the geese every morning...oh, yeah, the robe has neither belt nor buttons. he's pretty much flapping his robe AND stuff. NOT a pretty picture. there was a time when neighbors got all crazed about it. not any more. just part of the landscape, like goose poop. we're an accepting bunch.
now that summer has arrived i see he has a new hat. one of those southwestern jobbies with glitter. doesn't 'go with' the robe one little bit. now there's where i'm drawing the line. the flappin' is okay, the hats gotta go!
