I'd do it if the stranger was one of those jerks who park in-between two parking spaces because they're afraid of car dings. Meanwhile you can't even find an open space. Or if the car had a car alarm so sensitive that it goes off if you walk within a foot of it. I'd consider keying one of those cars both a public service, and education for the owner. (ps: As to the other things being "goofy", stealing your neighbor's mail is a felony.)
