The alignments

My favorite AL has got to be CN. Its the "I do whatever the hell I want to do" alignment. Most of my charas are CN.

About Kot_Pizot...

Defintley time for a new poll...

And yeah, I'd agree with you that Lawful Evil, or any kind of Evil char is hard and tiring to roleplay because you can't team with anyone (unrealistic), and most people don't have much practice at it in real life (most people). LE is more fun to fight than to play.

Neutral is easy. Just follow your personal desires.

Come to think of it, LE is the only kind of Evil that can team, if only until the inevitable backstabbing of your allies. ;D

we are the champions my friend

When I first played REAL RPG i choosed chaotic good, dunno why, but now it depns on past and present of my char. Playing evil char tho drains me somehow. Maybe I just don't know the right way to roleplay evil.

btw lawful evil guys don't do whatever they like. They do whatever it takes to reach what they thought they must reach and follow their perverted morals.

favorite align

I always preferred lawful evil because it gives you a sense of morals to follow and also allows you to do whatever you wish at the same time.

Just my 2 cents

Neutral Good

I'm more of a neutral good person, so that's my favored alignment (but for some reason my current character is Lawful Evil :P).

I like lawful neutral

I like this because if I play a lawful neutral character, I get to uphold the law of wherever I am, regardless of whether it's good or evil. If I am in a place where demons have enslaved other races, I don't try to free them because that would create a chaos. On the other hand, if I am in a place where good people are the law (like paladins), I will help them do their job.

Neutral Good Explained

As an old (and I mean OLD!) 8P Dungeons and Dragons player (and it was that game that came up with this particular alingment system) I can explain the difference between Chaotic and Neutral Good. It's like this:

Assuming two good characters arrive at a place with unjust laws. However, they are on an important mission, and must blend in.

The Neutral Good character would dislike it, but would play along for the good of the mission.

The Chaotic Good character would HATE it, and, depending on his intelligence, might either cause a mess, or (grudgingly) contain himself.

Chaotic Good

First off, whoever put "Neutral Good" because mistaken if they thought that meant you act (good) without regard for rules (following or breaking them). That's more akin to Chaotic Good (my real life alignment.) Chaotic Good characters have no use for "laws" and instead, use their own moral compass of right and wrong to determine their actions. A Neutral Good character
does not fit this discription.

This according to PlanetBaldursGate.com...

Chaotic Good:
Chaotic Good characters are strong individualists marked by a streak of kindness and benevolence. They believe in all the virtues of goodness and right, but they have little use for laws and regulations. They have no use for people who "try to push others around and tell them what to do". Their actions are guided by their own moral compass which, although good, may not always be in perfect agreement with the rest of society. A brave frontiersman forever moving on as settlers follow in his wake is an example of a Chaotic Good character.

Neutral Good:

These characters believe that a balance of forces is important, but that the concerns of law and chaos do not moderate the need for good. Since the universe is vast and contains many creatures striving for different goals, a determined pursuit of good will not upset the balance; it may even maintain it. If fostering good means supporting organized society, then that is what must be done. If good can only come about through the overthrow of existing social order, so be it. Social structure itself has no innate value to them. A baron who violates the orders of his king to destroy something he sees as evil is an example of a Neutral Good character.

Hope this helps...

Neutral Good

I like heroes who don't care about following OR breaking rules. Just on doing what is morally right.
