Pro/Am?

Did anyone else read the article about Natasha and Brendan competing in a pro/am? Is this likely to happen? Will it be on the BBC? It would be a great "next step" for them after winning SCD.

Natasha seems to have been well and truly converted to dancing (it's difficult to picture her as just a news presenter now!), and the chemistry with Brendan is great. Her confidence must be sky high if she is thinking of giving a pro/am competition a try. Hope they do well after setting such a high standard on SCD. This could be the next opportunity to see them dancing together, and any programme would also be able to focus on Natasha and Brendan preparing and competing (i.e. no Chris Parker etc). Really hope this goes ahead!

Brendan

Yes, Pat, I did notice. They just can't seem to help themselves. Can't think of any of my 'friends' that have that kind of effect on me. I just love to watch them both. When they dance together, something 'special' occurs - whatever that may be, love or otherwise. it is 'electric' and very good to watch.

If Brendan does indeed take time to look at this site, I am sure that he will be pleased with the results. Everything on here is positive.

I just love to watch them - whatever thay are doing - well, within reason!!

I have watched the recording of the final again this morning, plus the BBC3 interview afterwards. Unfortunately, for me, I did not record previous programmes, so I am having to rely on the short video clips on the offical BBC site.

So, Brendan if you are in fact reading this, hopefully you now realise (if you did not before) the huge following that you have.

I wonder when we will next see them dance together?

The not knowing is awful.

I don't care whether Brendan thinks we are all insane or not, at least he will know how much we care for and admire him, and want to see much more of him on TV. Monica what did you make of the body language betweeen them both last night?

Madness

Lol i agree, we are all totally mad but at least we're not alone!

And as for last night, when the cheque was handed out i did indeed see all the subtle touches between the two of them - there must be something there! I bte they're both pretty gutted now that they don't get to spend all their time together dancing...

SCD on Sport Relief

Oh I was so disappointed! So disappointed that I didn't come back on here last night. All that excitment and tension for 3 minutes of shared dancing! Never mind will have to make do with my video recordings again. I agree with a lot of the comments, just watching Brendan and Natasha together, I am sure they are an item. Will be back later.

Video/DVD

To register your interest in a video/DVD of Strictly Come Dancing, email bbcproducts@galleon.co.uk (BBC Worldwide, the commercial branch of the BBC). Please do it and put on the pressure! If anyone wants BBC Worldwide's telephone number or postal address, just ask.

Emma - as far as I'm aware, Jon Roseman's statement *was* in the tabloids, but more recently he has declined to comment... very suspicious!

Keep on Dancing!

An all too brief reminder of how well Natasha & Brendan dance together! It was Sport Relief night however, so I guess it wasn't too much of a surprise that the SCD item was only 5 mins long. Great to see that £500K had been raised from the phone votes over the series.

Hopefully this won't be the last time that we get to see Natasha & Brendan dancing........will they compete in a pro/am? There was an article in the Sun earlier this week that Natasha wanted to continue dancing and that they may enter a competition in the US. Any truth in this?? If this does happen, hopefully it will be covered by a BBC SCD special........fingers crossed....it would make great viewing.

Video

I haven't heard either way if they intend to put out a video of the first series, although i think they'd be losing out severly if they chose not to, after all the series was seen as a massive success!

As for any romance, again i stress - who in their right mind would choose a 45 year old over Brendan?! Or anyone over brendan for that matter?!!

SCD2

Yes another series has been commissioned. Zoe Lucker (from Footballers Wives) and Martine McCutcheon (formerly from Eastenders) are muted to possibly be taking part. Bruce will not be, as he says that this series "exhausted" him, but Tess Daly is hoping to take part - depending on when the new series is due to 'go out'.

As for the spokesperson, she was named (but I cannot remember her name) in the Daily Mail, plus on the official BBC site, and in one of the magazines (Heat or Closer); she gave an "official" response to all the speculation. In that statement it said that Natasha had returned to Lloyd because of "love". I still think it was on the rebound. He and Mike apparently love her - oh to be in demand.

I think (well being the romantic) that Brendan coming onto the scene has changed all that - well at least - complicated things a little.

I do hope that we have the chance to see them dance together again soon.

Anyone heard about whether or not the BBC intend to release a video for sale?

I would take anything in the papers not seriously. as if friends and spokes persons really would talk to a tabloid or they themself would

where did you see the statement from natasha's spokesperson. if it was indeed given by him the tabloids would have been all over it and it was never mentioned. not by one.
she went indeed all girly when brendan was on breakfast.
