What a cop-out...

Well what a load of rubbish that was! The whole sport-theme didn't really work at all, and Natasha & Brendan couldn't show their full dancing capability.

And as for the relationship - she's just in the past few weeks during SCD gone back to Lloyd, it all seems too complicated. :-( However, he is 45 and seeing as Brendan is much closer to her age, hopefully she'll see sense!

Dissapointment!!

What a dissapointment! I was hoping to see AT LEAST one full dance from them, if not more! That lasted about 3 minutes and wasn't even just them! GRRRR! What are we going to do now?! (i hope i wasnt the only one only watching Natasha and brendan the whole way thru and shouting at the screen when it showed Chris or Martin??)

As for their relationship, i definetly think there is potential. I'm pretty sure while filming SCD they got a lot closer than they would have planned - i remember watching footage of them training and they were always giving each other wee kisses and finding excuses to touch each other, so there MUST be something there! AS for lloyd, come on can he match up to Brendan??!!

And official fan club - i love that idea!

i was so disappointed what if that's the last time we see them dance together natasha looked every bit as good as erin and hanna brendan and natasha looked as good as ever dancing together.

Was That It?

Was that it? All 3 min and 10 seconds of it? I am disgusted! I hope that there is more later on tonight, but I doubt it somehow. I have just switched the video off!

AS for Natasha being in a relationship with Mike, I think that is just a smokescreen.

After being in a relationship for so many years with one person (11 I think), which seemed to be going nowhere, I think that the other person became an escape route. He was/is someone who she regards as a her mentor, and as such, is safe and reliable. An escape from the 'drudgery' etc. She went back to her partner because of guilt according to the newspapers, but it did not last, and she returned to her 'lover'. I still think that it was convenience, but I have read that Mike really loves her.

I still think that she and Brendan could become an item, but as already stated, things are complicated.

She has already messed up by leaving a partner twice, and is possibly on the brink of moving on again. This when done by a women, is usually treated far worse in the media, than if a man had done the same thing.

In Brendan's case, he was actually engaged to Camilla, and they have got a property together. So once again, things are complicated. he too has been with Camilla for years (8 years apparently), but no marriage in sight (if that is what the engagement was meant to lead to).

So, for us romantics, things are complicated, but not impossible to overcome. As for the offical spokesperson, they are paid to deflect public interest in whatever direction their employers asks at the time.

Now, back to Sports Relief. What about the 3/4 of an hour dancing as listed in the tv schedule?

Natasha in relationship?

Sorry to post my 3rd comment in a row now, but this is a quote from Jon Roseman, Natasha's spokesperson:

"Natasha and Mike have worked very hard to sort out their relationship. But her feelings for Lloyd were just too strong. They can't deny this any longer. In essence, the heart won."

This statement was only made a 2 weeks ago! So although Natasha has split from Mike Barnard, she is now with Lloyd! :-O

Awww...

I know, when Brendan kissed her and put his arm around her shoulders when they were being judged... I agree that the gap on the sofa during that BBC Breakfast item drew attention to the issue!

And to quote from the ironically highly-appropriate (I've Had) The Time Of My Life:

"Now with passion in our eyes, there's no way we could disguise it secretly..."

The "Gap"

Hi Monica, I think we all knew you meant the gap on the sofa! I agree with all you say, you only have to look at the videos of them dancing and see the looks and glances they exchange, and the fact that he is saying things to her while dancing and all the kisses of encouragement and praise he gives her. They are in love! I will check back later too, to see what everyone thought of SCD tonight. It's supposed to be a dance with a sporting theme - sounds like it could be interesting!

Gorgeous Brendan

My family think I have gone mad too! I have been watching the clock all day and now it is only one and a half hours to go! I am so excited, it has been a long time since any guy excited me like this, lol! I dream of dancing with him too, I think about him as soon as I am awake every morning and I, too, am one of the sad cases that has to have my Brendan "fix" every day by watching the videos over and over, and using every search engine on the internet to find out more information about him. Perhaps we should start an official fan club!

SCD2

I got the feeling that all 'that space' was supposed to give the impression that their relationships is PLATONIC! Yeah, and snow is green. It did not work! It is clear that there is a 'link' but maybe this 'exercise' was for the current partners/ex partners benefit. Until things get sorted out properly, I don't suppose they want to appear as a couple, when they are not on a dancing programme.

It was a waste of time, as it was clear that they wanted to be 'close'. Natasha was all 'girly' as soon as the item came on, and Brendan and her kept exchanging glances. Her body was facing Dermot, but her left hand was pointing towards Brendan, indicating that via body la language, that she was 'reaching out for him'. I know I am sad, but I study these things.

I also, remember Brendan saying that he is not a morning person. I think he was tired, and felt a little uncomfortable in that kind of setting. Having said all that, I think he will need to get used to it, as I think it is going to happen more often in the future.

The gap on the breakfast programme was too vast, so in effect, it drew attention to something, rather than detract.

I am convinced that they are a couple, just starting out on a relationship. It may or may not come to anything, but it is lovely watching something develop before your eyes. I hope it does work out.

My video recordings have taken on a special significance as a result of this 'budding romance'.

Must go now and see to my family 'tea', but will check in later to see what everyone thought of the Sport Relief dance spot.

Speak to you all later.

Bye for now.

Oh, it's great news that Natasha & Brendan are dancing together tonight! I will set my video up soon! The tape will probably break or we'll have a power cut or something - sod's law! ;-) OK, shouldn't tempt fate!

I am in Good Company

I am so glad that I am not alone in feeling like this. I thought I may be 'losing it' a little. I just keep on watching the video over and over again. I need to get a life again I think, but for the moment, I am happy in my 'madness'.

I cannot wait until tonight, and no doubt I will be playing that recording over and over again too.

I am prepared to pay (almost any price) for an official video - which hopefully the BBC will release soon. They should have realised that there is a market for this item. Well, at least one customer - me!

I currently have my eleven year old daughter watching me type this, and she thinks I am completely mad, sharing all this with strangers.

I don't mind, I find rather comforting that other people feel like me.

Sport Relief

Yes it is definetly Brendan and Natasha together rather than just her on her own, which just wouldn't be as satisfying!

Monica, don't worry i think it's pretty obvious that all of us are as hooked as you are on Brendan and Natasha, so you're in good company!

And as for dancing with Brendan himself, one can only dream.......
