Final Fantasy is an awesome series but 8 just sucked. alot of ppl like it but it sucks so much. VII was so much better.

Ok, I had to come out for this one.

Final Fantasy games have realy gone down the tubes. Final Fantasy X2? The ****? It sucked and for the first time there where no summons. THATS THE POINT OF THE FF SERIES!! Stop changing the basics. The caracters, story, and maps are the things that need to be changed. Not the way the game works. It's like having a Mortal Combat game with no fatalities and pastel backgrounds. It's not to be done.

I liked Final Fantasy VIII the best, I liked the complicated junctions and the gunblades. The first disk was a little long and the game would have done better on the PS2, but over all I liked the story line, it's like a good book, only you get to play it.

The main problem that I have with the FF series is that after you beat the bad guy, well there is nothing else. You have to either start over or keep killing the last boss. I'd like to see a better ending. They could come out with a last dist so that you could see what all your hard work was for. If FF7 you see a very large space rock about to destroy the world and then some green light stopping it. Thats all. No going home, or getting to go back to the towns you just saved so you could see what the people think.

I liked all the FF games (exept X2) but I will not buy FFXI. I will not pay extra to play a game. After I buy it thats it. I'n mot going to pay $11 bucks a month just to play it.
