Geez, DM. You're doing it all wrong. Ebaumsworld pictures are for wimps. How do you post images here? Next time there's a significantly stupid post to reply to, I'll show you how it's really done.

RE: Kerry

Just curious... who is registered to vote AND votes in elections? Any of you that are complaining bother to vote last presidential election? Dragonmaster, you may not have been old enough.

Any of you participate by getting other poeple to vote, regardless of their polictical opinion? How 'bout volunteering for political action groups or even donating money to groups that lobby congress for your pet causes?

I get really feed up with people who bitch and moan about the government (especially when it's not even their government) and yet aren't politcally active. I don't care what your opinion is as long as you do more that bitch about it on your personal website. I really hope that every one of you that has blasted Kerry or Bush are actually going to vote.

RE: Kerry

What is the rule for people who do not live in the US? As long as we are registered to vote, and do vote in our respective countries are we allowed to complain about Bush, since well, forgien policy affects us as well?

Matt, you crack me up!!! I'm a guy just for the record. Don't pretend to be smart if you don't know what you're talking about, because unfortunetley it is quite apparent to everyone that you dont.

Ya know I'd explain what AWOL meant and how that is a bad thing, but I seem to remember that being the entire thread of last week's main post...and I'm sure you would make as many dumb remarks and accusations this time as you did in the last one.

RE: Kerry

DA, donated a fair amount of money to the democratic cause (however being a full time student and a part time worker, it wasnt a whole lot of money.) But its the thousands of little people that donate $50.00 that add up to all the money they need. And yes I'm registered to vote.

RE: Kerry

Aurora and Syrgot: Glad to see you are active participants. I beleive that it's the thousands of people doing small things that matter. Individuals do matter... look at the elections of 2000 in Florida and how a small handfull of voters impacted world events.

I don't have a rule for those in other coutnries. I don't have a strong opinion on Canadian (or any other country for that matter) politics 'cuz I'm not a citizen there. I figure if you wan to vote for a Gay Baby Killing Socialist or a Right Wing America Loving Religous Zealot, it's your right and your country. I won't tell you what to do with your vote and you shouldn't tell me what to do with mine.

Oh DA,

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I have been having a miserably stressful week. I had 4 hours sleep last night before waking up early to study for a midterm. It was a long and painful midterm.. and I came home, opened up the thread and nearly fell off my chair laughing.

“Gay Baby Killing Socialist or a Right Wing America Loving Religous Zealot”

That is absolutely priceless. Thank you!

And just so you know, I don’t want to tell Americans what to do with their vote… I just want to complain… that’s it.

RE: Kerry

Aurora,
There are SO many people who 'just want to complain.' Yet I admire you doing it, becaues 99.996% of the people in america who 'just want to complain,' try and use an excuse so they sound smart. Okay, now I know I'm a left wing guy, but DA failed to make fun of my side of the whitehouse, so I have a joke which my girlfriend sent me (after we had a heated political debate.)

Question: How do you tell the difference between
Democrats, Republicans and Southern Republicans? The
answer can be found by posing the following question:
You're walking down a deserted street with your wife
and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking
man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks
eyes with you, screams obscenities, raises the knife,
and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are
an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he
reaches you and your family. What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the
question! Does the man look poor or oppressed? Have I
ever done anything to him that would inspire him to
attack? Could we run away? What does my wife think?
What about the kids? Could I possibly swing the gun
like a club and knock the knife out of his hand? What
does the law say about this situation? Does the Glock
have appropriate safety built into it? Why am I
carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message
does this send to society and to my children? Is it
possible he'd be happy with just killing me? Does he
definitely want to kill me, or would he be content
just to wound me? If I were to grab his knees and hold
on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?
Should I call 9-1-1? Why is this street so deserted?
We need to raise taxes, have a paint and weed day and
make this a happier, healthier! street that would
discourage such behavior.

This is all so confusing!

I need to debate this with some friends for a few days
and try to come to a consensus.

Republican's Answer:

BANG!

RE: Kerry

How could you talk it over with your friends for a few days if you had only a few seconds to make your decision? Just a thought.
