| Posted By: Mahender Kapoor Posted On: Oct 1, 2008 Views: 2364 | US president Bush has done lots of damage to image of US, Just to satisfy his Ego. I think whatever happened during last 8 years was turning point in the history of World, US might not able to get same position any more for next one century after this. Always they were the people who sow the seeds of war and never finished the war, This will cost them most in terms of global positioning. They wanted to be called Police of the world, in the name of so called democracy, Without really knowing the truth at the ground. And most of the time they took wrong decisions, whether its Iraq or Pakistan or Middle east as a whole. So many countries where there is no real so called Democracy but they are in good terms with US, US will close eyes. They should answer one question? Whether Democracy is required for un-educated people? Instead of wasting money on war and leaving underdeveloped countries on donations, why don't US and all the developed countries put more money and effort on Education atleast this way they will able to make countries progress with in 15 to 20 years time. But the big question whether US policy makers want this to happen? Mr Clinton talks about it now but did very little during his time. I really can't say much about Mr Obama, He will need atleast year to clear the **** which is still there in his back yard. Only thing I can wish is, Pls stop running the countries on Religon basis. All our religons are no more relevant and should create one new faith, where all the human beings are same and equal, It might be Humanity, which will bring all the races and people together and provide food, sheleter, education and jobs to every one in this world only then war will be over. |

| Posted By: Stephen Posted On: Sep 10, 2008 Views: 2741 | The Coming US Election As a European (living in Europe) but married to an American I think I can say that Americans always vote based on who they think will leave them the greatest percentage of their income. For the most part Americans do not care what the world thinks about them. But American do not like to lose. As such they have a choice between Obama who wants to pull out of Iraq and declare that America lost the war and McCain who believes the war can be won. They have a choice between Obama who wants to raise taxes and McCain who does not want to raise taxes. I think McCain will do much better than most people think he will. The average American is more conservative than McCain and much more conservative than Obama. If McCain can show this to the Americans he will win. |
| Posted By: Iron Man Posted On: Sep 2, 2008 Views: 2726 | Who will win the US Presidency I think the current administration has made sure that the GOP doesn't win the next election: America lost its credibility at the world stage, domestically too events such as the subprime mess, the botched Katrina efforts, the scandals at the Justice Dept., etc. have more than shown that this administration was just pursuing its own whims and fancies without any real political depth or analysis. The party time is over now: soon the consequences of the excesses will come home to roost. |
