SNC lavilin LDF CREDIBILITY

According to me there is nothing wrong as far as SNC lavalin case. Both UDF AND LDF GOVERNMENT DONE THERE BEST TO REDUCE POWER CRISIS.What ldf done is far better by getting a grant to built hospital.ALTHOUGH I SEE BOTH LDF AND UDF FAILED TO GET THE MONEY.WHAT SHOULD BE DONE IS TO GET WHAT IS SAID.UDF AS A GOVERNMENT IN POWER SHOULD DO NEEDED.

Radhika's comment about motherhood...

Hi,

That's true.. We are supposed to play roles, whether it is father, mother or son or even brother. The script and make-up is cast and ready.

The media, films and serials, help strengthen such moulds.

if you dont subscribe or play the role, then you are judged as a misfit...

Dont judge yourself hard.

We The People

The stamp duty for land transaction is heavy and it will reflect in Agricultural sector. Nobody can purchase land for Agricultural purpose. It is helpful for the black money holders to purchase land showing lower price in documents and they can give more money to the farmers who were in alredy in debt. The Agicultural production will decrease and will create shortage of edible items in future. The land purchacing for Agricultural purpose have to exempted fully to maintain the land in agricultural sector itself. The unorganised work force have to live with the income from daily routine works on Agricultural lands.

Mp rewards

I have seen A letter from Mr.Nair regarding the allowances made to the MPs of the country.
It is unfortunate that a gentleman like MR.NAIR
misunderstood the so called fortunes, that our Parliament Members are enjoying. An average income of an Indian MP IS about Rs.13000/- only. An amount of Rs. 10,000 will be given as office expences. from that, they have to give rental, remuneration to PA,Ofiice expences (Two offices, atleast) . And please don't think that an MP office hasnot expences. Other estimates given in the e-mail is utter nonsence!!!.

In fact .All those Letters , Fax, Stampage, Dtp, Etc.,do coast heavy.

As far as traveling assistance is concerned, it is provided to the conveyance to and from the parliament. it is notONLY the MPs but scores of other peoples also, who are getting these kind of benefits.

People like Mr. nair should only be concernred with facts rather than fiction & stories given by Nuts, who are concetrating to degrade our democracy.

Traffic round-abouts

The traffic round-about is a very efficent mode of controlling traffic at a busy junction. It can be effective even if it is unmanned. It is very effective, especially if the 'RIGHT OF WAY' i.e "Give way to Traffic from the Right" is properly understood and followed !

When a city expands and the volume of traffic becomes dense, it is imperative that the round-abouts are done away with and traffic signals are installed (especially the ones with the digital 'second' counters). Trivandrum needs to be treated with the REMOVAL OF A FEW ROUND-ABOUTS and the installation of signals especially at Chackai, Pattoor, MLA quarters, Sasthamangalam, Railway station and LMS junction. It will be best if it is dealt with now (Mid 2005) when there is so much of Road work going on.

Term Limit & Age Limit

1. I like to have term limit and Age limit imposed on polititions so some of thoese old men could retire and stop bothering normal living people. when get old most people lose their self esteem, intelligence and common sense. So if anyone can support this i would say Keralites are smart. Otherwise they not smart may be intelligent.

2. Ban all political students unions from Schools & Colleges, but I doubt any politition will support it.

3. Ban all unnecessary strikes, "Banths", "Kheravos" and such, which disrupts people lives and destroy property and lives. I believe majority of people will agree for that. The only ones will object may be the polititions.

Good Luck!!!!!

smart city

the stand taken by achuthanadan shows the double standards of CPM. when all states are queing behind dubai internet city with all kinds of concessions , he is saying dont give any concessions. he is objecting smart city , because he fears that if smart city comes , the credit will go to congress and may fetch more votes for them. even in the past he has shown he is anti-development politician. the left in bengal has changed their view on development , but leaft here is so pathetic when it comes to understanding peoples views. only a fool will object smart city which will give jobs to 33000 directly and over a lakh indirectly.

Smart city

Of later Internet has become a place where people spread rumors and stories. If these people know some facts then they should publish in the newspapers in Kerala and the allegations should be raised in Kerala assembly. If the people who spread the stories are courageous enough then they should expose the villain in public, and not through secret email campaign.

Now coming to Smart city, I do not know why it is called “Smart”. Kerala needs smart people and not a smart city. Why is not there enough transparency in the deal?

I am an entrepreneur in the filed of IT and have been working in this field for the last few years. How do they suggest to employee 20,000 people? If Microsoft wanted to come to Kerala they do not require the help of any “smart” people, they can do that by their own. There are many reasons why those companies prefer cities like Bangalore and not any one of that reasons is the absence of a “smart” city. There are many hundreds jobs available in Kerala right now which go unfilled because there are nobody with right attitude and focus in Kerala.

Why do we have to blame a few people alone for the non-industrialization of Kerala? What are the rest of us doing to help industrialization? It will be easy to find some scape goats and shift the blame so we do not feel guilty, except that it will not solve the problem. Let people in a Panchayath in Kerala say that they are ready for an industry in their Panchayath and say that we are ready to breathe the “foul smell” of the industry if some 100 of the people living there get a job. Then we will have several industries in Kerala. If we want to find out the problems in Kerala then ask that questions to your self, do not spread rumors.

Can we adopt Dubai development model for Kerala? Gulf development is based on one natural resource and not based on competitiveness. Gulf would have been as poor as us or more if they had not struck oil there. What we need is the competitive model of the west and not a model based on corruption and non-transparency.

Smart City..

Smart City require more transparency. for only 33000 job opportunities it is a big cost.
More over we people never believes any politicians, Left or Right.. BJP or Muslim League. all are very much opportunists.

For Microsoft and cisco to start there business in Kerala there is no need of a smart city. How many Smart cities are in Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

Which politician in Kerala think about the possibility of Vizhinjam port which can generate ample job opportunities. They say Jai Hind for Sethu Samudram... If smart city is a good project it has to be implemented.. But it need transparency.....

Smart City Project

One of the drawback in the Keralite politicians is that they are looking everything in the political angle only. This is very much reveled by the recent statement of Shri.Achuthanandan, Leader of Opposition & Shri.O.Rajagopal, BJP leader about Smat City Project.

Every body especially the educated unemployed youth of Kerala knows that the present UDF government is on their right path to development of the state. With their vision now Kerala become the destination of Industries & Business from world over.

If the above political parties continued to discourage the effort of the present government, the people of Kerala will not keep quite. I am sure that this will reflect in the next election.

Hence, I request every political parties kindly make some common agenda for the development of the state and the people of Kerala. Politics should be for the Development angle and not at an anti-development angle.
