The ending is a struggle for me. There are 2 Andre Betts produced tracks (both loungey) next to each other. If In This Life had been placed between the 2, the ending would be much more transitional. I have to say though, Erotica to Fever does not work (lounge to house). Deeper and Deeper doesn't go with Where Life Begins. Words and Rain, Rain and Why's It So Hard does not work together. Dance - ballad - dance. If the tracklist order had been changed to make the transitions smoother, Erotica, especially the 2nd half, would be much more enjoyable. Hence why I have put this album into a playlist based on my own tracklist - makes it much more enjoyable.
Posted By: Jon Posted On: Nov 6, 2008 Views: 2447	Erotica outtakes I agree with AB about Goodbye To Innocence and Shame - such a shame (pun not deliberate, but oh well!) that the latter in particular wasn't selected to be on the album, since it would have fitted in so well on it and has what I'd describe as quite meaningful lyrics to boot. Be good if the album could be remastered/reissued and have these songs added to it if there was room - as long as the Shame it contained sounded a lot clearer than the poor-quality leaked version I've heard!

I have heard "Goodbye To Innocence" and "Shame". If she changed this 2 a double album, she should put "Goodbye to Inncoence" and "Shame" on there!

The problem was that madonna did so much in that period, i mean a lot attention in sex comment and stuff, i mean the book, the movie body of evidence were too much sex together, i think if she only put out the album, things would be different in that period of time.
