Trestman's Preparation Failure

After the Buffalo game, Jerry Porter's post-game interview had him saying "... and they ain't even seen most our plays yet - we've got a whole other
play book", or words to that effect. Why didn't Trestman use some of those plays in preparing for the Super Bowl? It's been well-documented by now that Gruden prepared the Bucs by playing the role of Gannon, including showing how a defense could read Gannon's pump fakes (see Peter King's article
in SI about John Lynch being miked-up for the game
and predicting a play, leading to a pick). Once a
Whiner, always a Whiner. Add loser to Whiner, for
Trestman. Let's get back to the Super Bowl next year, and let's be better prepared and creative. This was an embarrassment to dedicated Raider fans

Pride, Pose and a Commitment to Excellence

Now that the dust has settled. Remember our commitment Raider fans, and that includes all of the Raider Nation. Do not let one bad game unleash your control. This is a time we need more control, controlled intemperment. Let's find a way to get the best draft picks, players and stragtegies out there. Remember we need options and back up plans. Don't get arrogant, over confident or miss opportunities. We need a couple healthy tight ends, offensive guards, defensive tackles and ends and linebacker depth. We need to balance our attack next season, and give the offense even more confidence. We need a defense that has discipline and is able to pressure the quarterback at will. Let's all put our heads together to help build the future not find fault with someone for past failures. More in the near future. . . think passionately about only one thing winning.

Five Picks Are Unacceptable

**** Gannon. cut his sorry pussy loser ass and start Tui, Tui, Tui, baby. Gannon's an embarrass-
ment to Raider nation. While we're at it, tell Al
to stop suing the League, which obviously has an
extremely blatant conspiracy against us, so maybe we'll get a goddamn call and maybe we'll win a goddamn Super Bowl. This was an embarrassment to Raider nation, and this is coming from an eight year PSL holder. The League could not have had a bigger revenge outcome against Mr. Davis than allowing his team to get to the Super Bowl and then picking the ref for crew chief who threw fourteen (14) penalty flags against us v. the Rams
to stop our 4-0 season opening winning streak, as crew chief in the Super (The League Is Fixed) Bowl

The bucs D will not take Chuckys ego.

I think the Eagles will beat the Bucs, but I want that the Bucs beat Eagles, for Raiders it´s going to be easier to defeat the Bucs in the SB,Chucky can´t win in Monday Nights (Pressure and stress), imagine in a Super Bowl Battle. The hard part is the Bucs"D", but they all ready won and off course they dont want to watch on TV over and over the "official media little darling" stealing thieir season achivements in the name of his lovely nicknames: Chucky the "youngest" "genious" and "sexy" coach all over the world.

Bucs or Eagles???

I really don't care who we play in the Super Bowl, its just hard for me to say who we match up better against. I say we match up better against Philly...so I'll be slightly pullin for them. Yes, I would love to beat Gruden, but I also don't want to think about losing to him? But the team can't overlook the Titans.

GO RAIDERS!!!

Love!

Send some Love to Clarence! He did a heckuva job v. the Donks! We don't need Deion, and he doesn't
deserve a ring by coming to the team the last week
of the regular season, either! (Besides, as Bruce
Allen joked, Deion's not old enough to play for us
yet!). We need to beat the Cheats, not only for Home Field (i.e., the 12th Man) Advantage through the play-offs, and not only to avoid a sweep, and not only to have a winning record in the Division (since we are, after all, Division Champs, again),
but the main reason why we need to beat the Cheats
is because the only times in our history when we have won the Super Bowl, we have had either 11, 12
or 13 wins in the regular season. So, we must go 11-5 this Saturday to repeat our '80 Champ record!

Buck the Froncos

Charles Woodson, the great player he is, will need to be ready to play. It has sickend me to see him on the sideline in street cloths watching the back up Corners getting burned down the sideline. Woodson should only come in if we begin to see a repeat of last week. We know coming into this game that Shannhan will expose our weekness in our secondary. I'm not to concerned about their pass rush, they don't have a Jason Taylor, and we should be able to protect Gannon for all four quarters. Here's my prediction; If Raiders win the coin toss and elect to recieve the football, we will win. Broncos win the toss and score a touchdown on their first drive, they win.

Raiders 31
Broncos 27

Eye-opening Streak

These last four wins have been a testement to the Raiders resilience. I just am not so optimistic about these last four games. I don't think the Raiders can win in Miami....with Feidler back, unless he is rusty. I see an 11-5 or 10-6 record likely.

RAIDER TEAM

The Raiders need to just play football, the first 4 weeks they were in a zone its still the same team. They just have to stop waiting on big plays all the time and that is what was winning for them. Now that the big play are few and far between they need to work on team ball its not the D-fence and its not just the O-fence. Some of the play calling SUCKS, it does no good to rack up all this yards on O-fence and then when you get in the red zone you can't even score.
Plz Raiders if you are going to suck from now on let me know so I can go and play golf...

Red Zone

Ok, what's going on here... The Red Zone offense is a joke, and here's why. Every Team knows that the Raiders when they get in the Red Zone is going to throw, and by knowing that they always sit in a zone offense. There's limited space in the red zone, so when the teams in a zone defense they can sit in all the areas we can throw. Mix it up for the love of God! Callahan made a comment the other day when asked about his play calling and why he wasn't running. His reply was, "we do what we have to do to win." HELLO! Your not winning! Did we forget so quickly the first game of the season, where we had over 200 yards and won the game easily?!?!

Roster.

Why is Dorsett still playing? Why is he even on the roster.
Same goes for James Jett, that other Alvin W. WR I never heard of... not even during preseason. If we are to do anything to help out our seconday we need to get people out that we are not even using. Or that are not helping the team at all.... missing tackles left and right. If we are to become a Superbowl team... Al DAVIS needs to let go of his little pets...Dorsett,Jett mainly...
Just like they got rid of Branch... who kept getting burned every day in each game he played in. We need to get these players out and bring players that will earn thier money. With Jett sitting pretty and Dorsett causing the D backs to look out for him each play because they know he'll blow it. IF only Callahan had the balls to get these players out and bring in players that would help us reach the PROMISE LAND...!!!!!!

AL davis.... IT IS TIME SIR TO LET GO OF THESE TYPE OF PLAYERS AND BRING IN SOME WINNERS.

RAIDER 4 LIFE.

Areas of concern

Tory James is becoming a problem along with Roland Williams. We have no back up tight end and until Charles returns we have to live with James a wreck looking to happen. James takes to many plays off or he still doesn't know the system because he is out of position to often. He will hurt us if he continues to start after Charles returns.
Buchanon better quit worrying about interceptions and focus on covering his man..He can be great if he quit lusting for interceptions instead of playing pass coverage.. Hopefully Rod is talking to him about it..He could be great if he pay attention to the old pro....
HEY CALLAHAN, quit using Zack Crockett
on 3rd and 1 because everybody knows what play your going to run. Don't make the same mistake Gruden did learn from them. Change it up. Well I was going to say try throwing to the tight end but he will drop it if its an important pass play. Go Raiders////
