Mr. Mayes' sole objection is that telekinesis has never been proven under "scientific conditions." Given the fact that TK is essentially a biological process that drains considerable energy from any telekineticist-- Nina Kulagina looses as much as five pounds during each of her recorded sessions-- displaying telekinesis will never be as reliable as flicking a switch on an electromagnet. His forever bitching about scientifc conditions is disingenuous: the conditions that would make him happy are equivalent to keeping the lights on when developing a piece of film. When nothing satisfactory happens, he of course claims there's nothing to photography. Short of somebody in a face-to-face confrontation where a teek used telekinesis to strangle him-- he won't accept it. And probably still wouldn't accept it when he saw it being done to him. So why do you guys keep trying to be rational with someone who's obviously in a state of denial and is himself not rational? The Doctor |
