Its not about performing a magic trick. The passion and sense of Oneness with your surroundings can only be described as an intensely profound personal experience and can not be communicated to another. The very nature of those who may be able to perform it would simply not feel the need to parade their abilities anyway. i.e. humility. Besides, what do you really think it can do for you anyway? If you can perform it, it's only a reaffirmation of what you already know, and ONLY you. |

Good point, and I totally agree with you. So why do they feel the need to have so many web sites saying how clever they are then? Why do they put up videos of their 'TK powers'? Why keep posting comments on this board saying they do have TK? If they really are happy and content with the knowledge that they know they can do it and they do not feel the need to ever demonstrate it to anyone, why make such a fuss about it? Just doesn't add up does it? |

In my earlier message, I was almost trying to draw a parallel between telekinesis and perhaps an Eastern based faith. To be honest I dont know if there is really is a connection there, but it makes sense. So, my question is where did this originate? what I dont appreciate about many of these sites is how it is being demonstrated as a simple experiment like a silly 3rd grade science experiment showing how static electricity works with a hanging piece of tin foil and a comb. It just seems to me that this ability must be predicated by a certain lifestyle, or faith. Not enough is said about that that I can find. I believe that is what is really at the heart of this. These sites are just playing on people's curiosity about the mysterious and unknown, that's all, and that learning this might make them a superhero. |
