| Posted By: Dr Brian Madden Posted On: Dec 27, 2004 Views: 1631 | Bruce Lee TK - FACT Ladies and gentlemen, as you are all aware from the documents recorded of martial arts master Bruce Lee, the links between a 1 inch punch, which I may add were filmed for all to see, and TK, are phenomenal. As Dr Larson stated in a recent biography "The use of chi energy is of a substantial relevance in Bruce Lee's ability to disable an opponent when no physical contact is made." (2002, London Press). My research has led me to archive footage of Bruce Lee training in his home dojo in LA, to his birthplace of Sang Nguy, Asia. Of course while this footage shows Bruce Lee's incredible physical abilities it doesn't go far enough to implore any kind of 'supernatural' ability in his fighting. This is where the lines of definition are blurred, as I believe everything Bruce Lee performed to be ultra-natural, not supernatural. And this is where I found the infamous 8mm, colour film of Bruce Lee's so far secret fighting records. The following are 100% ACCURATE AND TRUE descriptions of the moves and actions performed by Mr Lee as captured on the films by his trainee/class coach Mr Hoi San (although the dates are not exact experts dates the films at somewhere between 1965 and 1969 looking at Lee's physical appearance, face and hair etc.): 1) Lee stands 8 metres from an (unknown) opponent, he sucks a large breath, runs at the opponent and stops in front of him, launching the man 2-3 metres back with a shout while making no physical contact with him (and it's clear by the mans position, posture and stance that he could not simply jump back the distance witnessed on the film) 2) After performing the traditional 1 inch punch, Lee's hands are tied behind his back and without any physical movement he performs the move again, knocking his opponent off his feet with an invisible blast of chi energy. 3) While still blindfolded, a pieces of wood normally used for breaking during displays (with punches and kicks) are placed around Mr Lee. They are however, at the closest a good five metres from Lee. But after a short pause, he punches and kicks the air around him as the planks break and shatter. 4) Finally, after the previous display he removes the blindfold and smiles at the camera as an unknown American voice remarks 'That's a f**king great trick...' to which Lee replies with a laugh, 'I am just a student, ha ha!' At the present time I am in negotiation with the current owners of the film to secure it's release but unfortunately they have little care for the potential earnings from the film stock as they believe the spirit of the warrior Bruce Lee protects them and they refuse to anger this so-called entity. After my visit to the family I have been met with a torrent of bad luck which only fortifies my belief of the power of the mind existing outside of the body. I believe is truth and my commitment to the communication of truth is what drives me forward. I will reveal more information as and when I am able. Many thanks, Dr Brian Madden, MD |

| Posted By: Alan K Posted On: Dec 28, 2004 Views: 1611 | RE: Bruce Lee TK - FACT A BBC program about martial arts ('Mind, Body and Kick Ass Moves'- http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbcthree/tv/mind_body/episode_guide.shtml) recently had a episode where a man rang a large metal bell by throwing chi energy at it through shouting (see deadly shouting under episode 1). He could shock peoples nervous systems with this technique and knock people down without making any physical contact with them. He claims the master who taught him (now deceased) could kill small birds using the techinique. The shout itself is not particularly loud. I'm not aware of the film Dr Madden is talking about but I do think that using chi energy is the closest thing to TK I've ever seen in practice. TK and the use of chi are the same in that they are the use of the power of the mind extending into the physical. I've never looked into any scientific explanation of chi energy, can anyone enlighten me on this? |

| Posted By: rob Posted On: Dec 30, 2004 Views: 1512 | RE: Bruce Lee TK - FACT i havent made any research into chi energy but have read numerous books on bruce lee, and YES it is very fascinating and seems to me a very mind over matter thing, judging from the books ive read, bruce lee trained for a min of 12 hours a day and dedicated his whole life into perfecting his art form, i think that with a min of 12 hours a day training the brain and the body to handle pain,power,etc would be achieved, but i cant see anything magical about it, just plain hard work and most of all dedication. dont you think? |
