MOVING CARPETS

I have a question. Regarding telekinesis, what is the power that moves objects? Is it within the object.. or a power, unknown to us, that moves the object, outside and not connected to the object?. What is it that can overcome friction and cause an object to move?. I ask this question because I have two carpets, one large and one smaller... that move by themselves... unaided by any human assistance. Do they move because of their relationship to me? Do I cause them to move through unknown powers generated by my body?. They move even when I'm not there and when I'm sleeping. You can not see them move with the eye.... but come back later and they have moved.

What say you... Gentlemen? Is this an elementry event? I would like to hear your Ideas and knowledge on this happening. This is not a prank.. but a serious question.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

Are you positive that no-one is purposely moving the carpets when your not there. It's just if TK was true how could you possibly move the carpets when your not there. Apart from the fact that these carpets would have a bit of weight i reckon most people would struggle to move them on their own.

Why not set up some camera's to see if the carpets really are moving on their own. You could be surprised.

I couldn't say, but the camera idea is a good one. Set one up and have a look at what happens. Heavy carpets moving of their own volition would be interesting to catch on camera.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

Thank you Placebo and Grant for your reply and ideas. There is no possible way that a second party is moving the carpets. The smaller carpet is the more active ... it is rolling itself up against the wall, in hump rolls, like ribbon candy. I am at a loss as to explain this, even to myself.I am away all day. I have photographed it to record the height of the rolls. This all began when I lived in Fla. two years ago. As a test, I planted my foot onto it and tried to slide it away from me... no dice. It does not move easily. The rough matt under grabs the carpet it is on and holds fast. The question remains: What force could possibly move this carpet. For every action... there is a re-action.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

I should have pointed out that the smaller carpet is 30"x40" and the larger one is 36"x48". The larger one has a 'KILLER WHALE" leaping out of the water... the smaller one is maroon. I offer this so that you may have all the information. Also, they are not on a wooden floor, but resting on a wall to wall carpet.

Molecules move about in a confined area...but collectively, do not move in another direction..unless so motivated by a force/energy outside of it's core. And that's the "puncher" here. What the hell is causing these carpets to move..... oh, one more element, my daughter tells me that it moves much more when I am Ill or sick.

ookay...now that's wierd.A carpet moving.Sounds halirous. The Floating Carpet. Are you sure maybe some other strong presence is not in the room.Maybe a ghost.Well only if you believe in them. But really we can't say it was a ghost.Because there is really no way to prove that it was.I really don't know.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

Carpets, or rugs, that are placed on carpets do move. This is a well known fact. The rug is resting on a carpet that has a pile to it. That pile will have a natural tendancy to lay in one direction. When the rug is walked on the pile on the carpet beneath is flattened, and as the pile returns upright again it moves the carpet, as if thousands of tiny fingers were moving it. The more the rug is walked on the more it will continue to move in that one direction until it reaches a wall. You will notice that your rugs will always only move in the one direction.
You do not live alone in the house. People other than you are walking on the rugs.
A carpet fitter will never lay one carpet on top of another, and that's the reason why.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

It went somewhere Keith.. but here is what I said. Your explanation seemed very plausible and made good sense to me. However, I do live alone and the rug is resting on top of a commerical grade carpet..no pile.. flat compressed material.I do not ever walk on the rug so I can observe this phenomenon. Now, with all that said...this is not a petition to this group to solve a riddle. This is real and happening. I had hoped that this group, with it's knowledge of TK.. and energy/forces might shed some light on this. Whose to say that TK is all about psi wheels...bending spoons and pins on bottles. Can we think outside the box here. How much do we really know.. of this subject. I read up on this over 50 yrs. ago... yet all the knowledge is no closer.. with an answer. 28 people have viewed this topic.. yet only a handfill have offered a thought. Do I have to be in the room in order to move the rug.. where is that written. Any Ideas folks.

RE: MOVING CARPETS

I realize this thread was from 2005, which is almost six years ago, however I have experienced exactly the same thing as Craig.

I just moved into an apartment with new carpet and laid my 4'x8' area rug down. Over the past four or five days I have noticed that it moves of its own accord. I have lined it up probably half a dozen times with the lines on the regular industrial grade carpet in my aparment and when I return it has moved. Not "maybe" moved, but *definitely* moved.

My only thought is that is may have something to do with the off-gassing of the new carpet. I can't seem to find any other possible reason for it to move.
