In order to get a true reflection of society's opinion then it is of course necessary to get a representative sample from that society. It would need collect data from all segments of society, rich, poor, young, old, workers, unemployed, etc. etc. Putting up a poll on an internet site doesn't work that way. The pollsters are not selected to give a representative view. The ones who vote are the ones who are drawn to the site. A site that has TK in the subject heading is of course going to attract people that believe in it. Those that don't tend not to go to such sites. I would have thought all this would be obvious, but in your cases it clearly is beyond your understanding. At least you have now learnt something. No need to thank me. Keith |

And a real poll, not sure where i heard it, some new thing some where, i think it was a AOL headline. But it was about the paranormal, and they took a poll and it said 60% believe in ghosts and the paranormal. Ghost doesn't fit i know but PK is paranormal. Rahmid |
