Gravity doesn't exist.

Gravity doesn't exist. The force behind it has not yet been discovered.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

Yeah its called GRAVITY!!!!! jesus have you got to try and prove everything wrong FFS, what keeps us on this plannet answer me that without use any of the above words...

Mike is right. You are wrong.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

The mass of the earth warping the space around us is keeping us on earth. This is why einstein is so famous. What guy said is true it just needs some explanation. What einstein proved in his theory of general relativity (or special i can't remember) is that it is the warping of space not gravity. Don't hold me to this i just saw it on PBS this weekend.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

My argument is actually FOR the existance of psychokinesis. Saying that gravity doesn't exist because the force behind it hasn't been discovered yet is the same as saying that psychokinesis doesn't exist because, in the opinion of many, there isn't anything that could be causing it.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

Guy,
What a twisted argument!
We know that gravity exists because we can feel it and can exactly calculate its effects so well we can guide a probe to Mars and land it where we said we would. Just because we do not know exactly what gravity is does not diminish the fact that we know it exists.
Unlike gravity we do not know that TK exists. Not surpisingly no one has a clue as to how such a thing could work!

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

For this one I partially agree with Mayes, gravity does exist. Whatsoever, its efects upon energy are relative to dimentional laws. Working in a 4th and 5th spacial dimencion and adding the temporal one, to a study of energy interaccion, PK would be explainable as a perfectly rational phenomenia, it can be even reproduced trough advanced simulation programs. Such programs exist by the way, i've seen them been used even if not for this pourpouse.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

BY the way, if you think i'm writing nonesense, make a little researsh about the subject.
Start by laws of energy interaction for not lineal geometry. Then mathematic researsh on dimentional spaces.
Update guys, you're all taking about twenty years ago phisics, don't be basic. All you have to do is google a bit.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

Maybe this is knee-jerk, but for those of you composing posts sharing your impressive, personal knowledge of physics, it would lend more credibility to your arguments if you could get through a single message without a spelling error. Didn't you run spell check on your thesis in advanced theoretical physics?

PS, Gravity exists. The arguments to the contrary are barely literate at best, thanks for playing.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

Actually, this is a very smart arguement. We all know that gravity exists (the attraction from one smaller object to one bigger object), yes, but there are also ways to make a gravitational appearance. You are faking PK and what are magnets doing? Faking gravity. We do not know the force of gravity, we do not know the force of PK. Both can be faked. One of the biggest things that is different between the 2 is that gravity is a bigger force and is therefore noticable. It is always there too. PK is a smaller force and comes from the human mind. We still do not know (as you have clearly stated) if it exists (scientifically). Scientifically, we cannot explain how gravity works either. Very smart arguement.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

Very dumb argument.
The force of gravity is the weakest force known in nature, it is not powerful. It takes a whole planet load just to keep you on the ground and even then you can jump off it even though you are not the smallest fraction of the earths mass.

Trying to say that not understanding how gravity works supports TK is pure pathetic nonsense.

There is nothing to support TK. What is so hard to understand about that?

RE: RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

My arguments and spelling might be barelly literate at best because english isn't my birth lenguage, neither the lenguage the scientists i work with use. One of them is spanish, the other rusian.. make your guess how hard is translate our work into english.

RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

...What the hell are you talking about.

There's no such thing as gravity.

The world is constantly accelerating at a speed of 9.8m/s/s

RE: RE: RE: Gravity doesn't exist.

The world does not accelerate at the speed... Gravity pulls things in towards the earth 9.8 meters per second per second at terminal velocity
