Posted By: wei Posted On: Jun 16, 2006 Views: 854 | I have a question Why do tkers only move psi-wheels? I mean, it's just a piece of paper on a pin. It's not contacting any other surface except for the pin, so basically anything is able to spin it around. Why the psi-wheels? There are much more easier things to move around like paper clips and the pin itself! So what's fishy about this is that if people can spin a piece of nearly suspended paper, which the gentlest of winds can do too, but they can't move anything else, then why do they believe they are performing tk? Why can't they just move around dust? or a speck of dirt on the table. That should be much easier than paper right? In statistics, if you aren't consistent, then there must be a lurking variable around. So if everyone can spin a psi-wheel, but not move a speck of dirt, then tk is most likely not the solution, there must be a lurking variable. I think that keith has discovered this lurking variable to be the heat currents. It would be so great if tk was actually proven, but seeing how "tkers" are only able to spin psi-wheels, and not anythign else, i don't see how that's proving that tk is real. |
Posted By: Willster Posted On: Jun 16, 2006 Views: 852 | RE: I have a question You are right. Psi-Wheels prove nothing. Even the heat from you hands can create current that can move it in the right conditons. Also, air currents in your home could move it.. I am so far not convinced of tk. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jun 17, 2006 Views: 842 | RE: I have a question It would be a tad more convincing if they moved something other than an object that is going to move anyway! |
Posted By: Woodpecker Posted On: Jun 18, 2006 Views: 834 | RE: I have a question I think tkers do psi wheels because they are easier to start on. When weightlifting, would you start you first ever lesson with a 125 kg weight? Probably not. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jun 18, 2006 Views: 831 | RE: I have a question You're right, I would start by first lifting just a few pounds and then gradually work up to using heavier weights. We have thousands of people who claim they can move a psi wheel. So why is then that after all these years and practice and all these people not one of them is able to move a brick? Not that hard to figure out is it? I love it when tkers are defeated by their own stupid argument. Wise up. |
Posted By: wei Posted On: Jun 21, 2006 Views: 813 | RE: I have a question with the weight analogy, if they can at least pick up a 125kg weight by an inch, then there is a chance they can do it. But for tkers, if they can't do anything else except psi-wheel, then there is nothing much to say |
Posted By: Placebo Posted On: Jun 22, 2006 Views: 805 | RE: I have a question Arguing with an analogy like that is pretty pointless. We have no idea if weightlifting has any relation to the subject at hand. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jun 22, 2006 Views: 801 | RE: I have a question Placebo, I think you have missed the point. |
Posted By: Woodpecker Posted On: Jun 22, 2006 Views: 798 | RE: I have a question Keith, I think you have missed a point too. You are assuming that moving a psi wheel with your mind is an insignificant feat. Moving anything with your mind alone would be a significant feat, it doesn't have to be a brick or a car. The first ever lightbulb was incredibly dim compared to today's versions, and the Wright Brothers' aeroplane only flew 12 feet. But that doesn't mean they weren't significant discoveries. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jun 23, 2006 Views: 790 | RE: I have a question What you say is true but does not apply to TK. No one disputes that the Wright bros actually flew a plane, even though it was only a very short distance. The vast majority of the world however do dispute that TK exists. It has never been proven that anyone has so much as tweaked a psi wheel by TK. You have to get that well established before you can use your argument that TK will improve over time. You can't improve a thing that has not been proven to exist. |
Posted By: Woodpecker Posted On: Jul 3, 2006 Views: 774 | RE: I have a question I'm sorry I'll try and be a bit more clear. I don't deny that the Wright brothers flew the first plane. But doing it was a significant feat. |
Posted By: Woodpecker Posted On: Jul 3, 2006 Views: 773 | RE: I have a question Oh yeah, and regarding tk, I said it WOULD be a significant feat, ie if it WAS suddenly proved. I'm not saying it has been proved. |
