The Hutchison Effect

I neither agree nore agree with The Hutchison Effect. But one thing I do know is that you both seem to submit incomplete data from lack of knowladge and complete research. For example:

Electrical power is measured in Amps not watts and not volts. volts measures flow/current and watts measures consumption. You can have 25,000kv (Kilovolts or 1 x 1000 volts) flow and use less than 1watt with less than 1 Amp of power. for research referance take a look at how a Tesla Coil works. Created by Nicola Tesla. In your defense though 100 Amps is more than fatal. and That is how much power was mentioned to be required. So not possible for the human body to create nor maintain that much power.

As far as Magnatism not being consitered antigravity you are absolutly correct. Gravity is the pull of the earths magnetic field atleast on earth it is. Just like the suns gravity is the pull of it's magnetic field. So magnatism cannot be antigravity, because it is gravity.

I am glad that you take the time to dispute and test other peoples reasearch it helps us get to the real truth. However I would like to urge you to do a little better research so that you don't sound like a babling idiot like the people you criticize. In the end it all comes down to a few truths:
Facts only.
then logic.
theories are just that theories.
and remember Arguing on the internet is like competeing in the special olympics. Even if you do win your still retarded.

No offense intended just advice. I'm not a scientist nor a philosipher nor mystic. Just open minded. TK has not yet been proven to me to be possible nor impossible. And I doubt that Cold hard facts will suface to prove or disprove TK in my life time. Keep researching.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

Einstein had a different idea of gravity, however (btw, NO-ONE *Knows* how gravity works, all there are is theories, and there is no way to prove any of them.

Space-Time is like a fabric, and the mass of things create "depressions" in this fabric.

I am not sure if / how to include pictures in a post on this forum so here is a direct link to it:

Just passing by.
"Electrical power is measured in Amps.."
"...So magnetism cannot be antigravity, because it is gravity."

"I would like to urge you to do a little better research so....."

???????????????????????????
Truly amazing.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

Anony Mouse,
Many thanks for your suggestion that I do more research.
However, may I suggest you do the same.
This is what you said.
"...As far as Magnatism not being consitered antigravity you are absolutly correct. Gravity is the pull of the earths magnetic field atleast on earth it is. Just like the suns gravity is the pull of it's magnetic field. So magnatism cannot be antigravity, because it is gravity..."

Gravity has nothing to do with magnetic fields. Look it up. You yourself said as much when you said that magnetism is not antigravity.
I think you have got yourself a little confused.

Here's an article on the Hutchison Effect, it shows a picture of ice cream being levitated by the guy who discovered it.

So what happens is that apparentely he claimed to actually produce the effect. Once. and it wasn't caught on tape.

The actual reproductions were somewhat fishy. His whole reputation was destroyed after he levitated a toy ufo, but one could clearly see a string attached to it.

"Hutchison claimed that it was a wire which was part of the apparatus, but later he confessed that he was "creative" with the footage because he has been unable to reproduce the effect since 1991."

So far, the Hutchison effect isn't proved yet, so using the Hutchison effect to prove PK is not valid evidence.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

if someone wants to see a video of the effect it's here by hutchison himself.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7027255937915952897

We all know the videos are fake, since he admitted himself that he hasn't been able to reproduce the effect since 1991. Also, the video isn't in color, and has tv noise. So it isn't credible.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

Why would the footage have to be in colour to be credible? Sometimes you can see things better in black and white.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

... Are you serious?

Not only is it colorless, but it also has artifical film grain. Tell me how that is easier to see than a clear color picture.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

And it isn't credible because he mentioned it himself.

He hasn't been able to acheive the Hutchison Effect since 1991, and he didn't record that effect at the time.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

Very interesting, thank you (the bit about admitting that he faked the later videos)

Assuming the effect is real, it's one hell of a difficult mission to get it right!!

RE: The Hutchison Effect

Black and white shots show contrast really well. For example, the Astaire/Rogers film, "Shall we dance?" has Ginger Rogers in a dress with sunflower patterns on it. It is stunning. That effect just wouldn't occur in a colour shot. Now, you still haven't explained why it has to be in colour to be credible.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

You want to know why it isn't credible? There is a video of him levitating ice cream with the hutchison effect, there are many theories of how he did it, including spreading metal scraps in it, and having a strong magnet above. That video is in black and white, and there is no way to tell if there were actually tiny metal scraps in it.

That was just an example, regardless of whether it is true or not. You can hide lots of things by eliminating the difference in color.

For example, it would be much easier to hide strings attached to a ufo, claiming that i can levitate it in black and white, rather than full color.

Just because you think black and white films is stunning, doesn't make black and white scientific recordings, with artificial film grain i might add, better to evaluate.

You asked my why color is better, i shoulded you many examples. All you told me is that black and white can make film stunning, how does that make things credible.

RE: The Hutchison Effect

No, all I said was that contrast shows up much better on Black and White. The onus was on you to show me how the lack of colour stopped it being entirely credible, because to me that didn't seem like a logical argument. However you have justified your point well, and I now agree. Thanks! :)
