huh?

I would just like to know from all who does not believe in TK, do you believe in religion?
None of the major religions, in this world, has any real proof of existence, so if any of the "none-TK-believers" believes in any religion, I would like to know why and which religion. :)

I am sceptic about the TK and all the other stuff, but I keep an open mind to all of it :).

RE: huh?

Your question appears to be a reasonable one, at first glance, but in fact isn't.
With religion, it is based on faith, and as such there is no way we can prove it, or disprove it. There is no test that we can apply to determine if, for example, God exists or not.
TK however is very different.
If TK did exist the we can very easily test it. All that is required is for someone who claims to be able to do TK to step forward and give a demonstration.
Problem solved.

RE: huh?

That's very debatable.
Why can't we just ask God to perform incredible miracles to show us all?
Because he wouldn't comply for some or other reason.
That can easily be interpreted as a concocted excuse, just as the TK excuses are interpreted to be.

RE: huh?

I think that the difference here is that God makes no claims to exist, or at least hasn't done so to my knowledge, in the last two thousand years. People just accept that he does even though it cannot be proven he does, unless God decides to invite us all round for tea one day. So yes, in that regard, you could say that it is a concocted excuse that God chooses not to reveal himself.
If people choose to believe in God, fine, that is up to them and it cannot be proven one way or the other.

With TK it is a little different. Many people say that TK does exist because they claim to be able to do it.
So do it.
As I keep saying to the TK supporters, put up or shut up, it's that simple.

I think you could easily say the same thing about TK. However much it irritates you, the supporters are still entitled to their belief.

RE: huh?

Woodpecker,
I'm afraid I just don't follow you.
People may choose to believe in God, that's up to them, as the existance of God cannot be proven or disproven.
I can't see how that applies to TK.
TK is not a belief or a faith thing, it is something that certain people claim they can do, i.e. move objects by the power of their mind alone.
We do not need to have faith in TK, all that is required is for someone who claims to be able to do TK to just do it, not just talk about it.

The only ones who require any faith in TK are the ones who can't do it, have never seen it done, yet choose to believe it exists. That scenario is the same as believing in God, but with a huge difference. Someone could come forward and demonstrate TK, thus removing all doubt and the need to believe.
So why don't they?
The answer to that must be obvious to anyone who thinks about it for more than half a second.

So, if something can't be proved or disproved then people are allowed to believe in it, but if it can be proved, then they aren't without having proved it first? Why? Perhaps I should have said "However much it irritates you, the supporters are still entitled to their opinion."

"Woodpecker once again showing his true intelligence."

This sort of comment hurts me but Grant is entitled to his opinion, whether I agree with him or not.
