I'm done.

I've just realized how childish it is for this site to even exist. A website existing simply for childish arguments is pathetic. I'm glad I reached my epiphany: I'm done.

Keith,
Stop refusing any and all analogies involving faith in TK/performing TK and faith in what-have-you/performing what-have-you. You are an idiot for shutting out the possibility of TK and abasing anyone who considers it. Currently, no one can prove it either way, and we aren't getting any closer by arguing about it.

Grant,
You don't have any friends, do you?

Didn't think so.

p.s. (refer to "Keith,...")

So, I'm done here.

Woodpecker, you would be wise to do the same, or at least you could stop wasting your time being polite here (where it will never be appreciated) and take your argument some place else.

I actually don't believe one way or the other. I simply don't like absolutes.
No one can prove it, one way or the other. Once again, everyone here is just wasting their time arguing about something that none of them really know anything about.

And lastly, I'm tired of this hypocritical idiocentric recitation: "This is just my belief. You may have yours" (and the like).
Obviously you (Keith, Grant, Nerd, everyone who deals in absolutes generated by abject speculations) aren't prepared to be proven wrong, and you won't allow anyone to believe in opposition of you (at least not on this issue).
Well, as Woodpecker said, there are two sides to an argument: "Deal with it."

So Woodpecker, I bid you goodbye. The rest of you, being self-righteous arrogant asshole, can simply **** off.

I'm done.

RE: I'm done.

I'm glad your done.
Thanks for calling me an ar*ehole.
Read your last post again. You say TK cannot be proven one way or the other. I agree. My point is, and always has been, is that it is up to those who make the claim to prove it, the rest of the world cannot possibly disprove it, no more than you can disprove my claim to be able to walk on water.
I can see you have learned not a thing from all our exchanges.
Pity.
Goodbye.

RE: I'm done.

I like you people, its funny to watch you fight. :) Anyway I believe that there is a possibilty that telekinesis exists. No it's not been proven but I hae an open mind.

RE: I'm done.

This 'open mind' thing. What does it mean?
Do you believe in the Loch Ness monster, Santa, Ufo's, Big Foot, elves and goblins, as they have never been proved to either exist or not exist?
Or is an 'open mind' selective in what it is open to?

RE: I'm done.

Well Kieth, I don't believe in Santa because that's just your parents, so is the tooth fairy. But Ufo's the loch ness monster, yes I believe theres a possibility they exist. I believe in bigfoot as you put it. But it's scientific name is Giganto-Pithicus. It has been proven to exist, They have a full size skeleton of Giganto in the museum of science located in China. So I have an open mind about everything, unless you can prove to me it does not exist, then there is the possibility it does. But then again why would you want to be able to explain everything, it would take the mystery out of life.

RE: I'm done.

By the way Keith, theres four stages in life, when it comes to Santa.

Stage 1: You believe in Santa.

Stage 2: You don't believe in Santa.

Stage 3: You are Santa.

Stage 4: You look like Santa.

Santa's real name's are, Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, then you.

Same with the tooth fairy and the easter bunny. Throw in a cowboy and an Indian and you've got the village people. :)

RE: I'm done.

I'm kind of put off by this topic of having an open mind.

It seems to me that an open mind refers to someone who is willing to believe anything. The last time I checked, gullability was anextremely foolish trait to posess. Having a closed mind...being willing to believe nothing seems absolutely impossible due to human nature and the instinctive willingness of he species to learn.

When adressing topics that are widely under dispute the best state of mind to be in is one that can process information properly and be able to discern reality from bull-headed dilusion and the ability to think rationally.

I hate to say it but that's a trait that most tk enthusiasts don't have....at all. You have placed yourself into a dream world and enjoyed it far more than you enjoy reality and are willing to fight to keep yourself in it. You immediately become hostile as soon as someone tries to point out a flaw in it. This if nothing else is proof that telekinesis is completely improbable. If you were so ure that it existed you would relax and let the facts do the work and prove your point but since you have no valid evidence you do your best to try to make people feel bad about their disbelief. I seriously doubt youd have the same reaction if I said humans didn't have the ability to walk....or play Scrabble.

RE: I'm done.

But Victoria,

1. I've never believed in Santa
2. I don't intend to lie to my children so I won't be Santa.
3. I'm not white so I wont ever look like santa.

the same goes with the tooth fairy and hopefuly the easter bunny.

RE: I'm done.

You get black santas :P
But I agree with you about lying to kids about santa.
Christmas has virtually nothing to do with christianity anymore. In fact, I don't think it ever did.
