Possibilities that could mean the end of the world

So I know we all wonder, how is the world going to end. The number one possibility is:

That we will kill ourselves. We are already fighting with other countries. Korea thinks their still at war with us, they've always thought their at war with america.

So we could end up starting a nuclear war,if they fire at us then were going to fire at them. Which means we would blow planet earth as we know it to pieces.

Then again with all the pollution in the air, were tearing holes in the ozone layer, and the means the sun will burn out the atmosphere. Which means we might as well be puting ourselves in a microwave. Because we'll cook from the inside out. I won't go into the grusome details, all I can say is within a matter of days after were exposed to direct sunlight every living organism will be dead.

Personally I prefer another ice age. Where it will be so cold that our blood literally freezes in a matter of minutes. It's fast and its painless.

So I ask you why are people eating bran muffins to add another 20 years to their life. A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand When I die I'm skidding in sideways with a strawberry pastry in one hand and a hot fudge milkshake in the other, screaming WOOHOO!

Well then again I exercise 5 days a week. So I'm in pretty good shape. I roller blade, and play basketball, and ride horses. :)

It's called optimism.
And if predictions were facts, we'd be extinct already.
The human species has overcome huge problems before, and hopefully will again.

If it doesn't, so what. You'll be dead anyway and not care any longer.

PS: Why are you discussing the end of the world on a telekinesis discussion forum?

I don't know, I felt like it. If you'd like then I won't post anything else such as this. Besides its the only forum where people actually reply. Every sight I've been to the last replies were posted back in 2002 and 2003

Victoria,
You can say whatever you like, everyone else does though most tend to stay on topic.
When I started this website years ago I did not expect it to be still going, especially as I haven't added anything to it for a couple of years now.
Feel free, say whatever.
I happen to think your views on the end of mankind are very extreme. Personally I don't think we will kill each other, I feel there is a far greater chance of a virus wiping us out or a meteor impact, but that's just a worthless guess.

RE: Possibilities that could mean the end of the world

Your theories of us dieing from a virus or a meteor killing us off, is not worthless. It is a possibility.

Those ideas of how the world will end are not mine. There was a special report on 20/20 of NBC News last month, thats where those views came from. I'd like to beleive that we decide our own fate and make our own luck. Now thats what most people call wishful thinking, and a hopeless idea.

I think we do decide our own fate and make our own luck. However, some things are obviously outside our control, such as floods, earthquakes, the weather etc. which means that to a certain extent our lives are governed by factors other than our own choices.
I know many people believe our lives are predestined, myself, I am not sure.

I have to agree with you, ith you on that.

RE: Possibilities that could mean the end of the world

The weather in Scotland just now is like it always is this time of year and will be for the next 4 or 5 month; wet, windy and cold. The weather here is awful most of the year, even in summer it always seems to rain, and having just come back from 2 weeks in Phoenix we are going to live there and have applied to do so.
The Loch Ness monster does not exist, it was all started as a hoax many years ago and the idea just took off. In order to have been around for as long as they have been claimed, there would have to be a family of them breeding, and there isn't enough food in the loch to support that theory!
I work as a Youth Worker in the Antisocial Behaviour Team, we have a lot of crime in Scotland because there is a lot of poverty and a lot of lazy bastards who don't work for a living and expect the state to supply them with a home and an income.
I am not from Scotland, I was born and raised in England, in London.
I can't wait to move to Phoenix.

RE: Possibilities that could mean the end of the world

Do you mean Phoenix, Arizona? I've never heard of any other Phoenix. Then again I've never left the country.

But when I do, I'm going to visit London, Tiawana, The Amazonian Jungles. Australia. I really want to go to Paris and see the Louvre. Because I really want to see some of Da Vinci's art first hand.

May I ask your age and is Keith your real name?

From just a guess I'd say your between the ages of 26 and 36. Am I anywhere near your real age?

You sound very enthused to move Phoenix. What do you like so much about it?

I know I'm not the moderator or Keith but this is WAY off-topic. This is turning into '20 questions about Keith' rather than 'Does T.K. exist?'

WoodPecker,
Telekinesis exists if you beleive it exists. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Beleive in it, don't beleive in it. it is all up to you. Keith can't decide for you.

Keith,
If you don't like the questions, then let me know and I will stop asking about you. I don't mind if you don't want to yalk to me. I just happen to be a really curious person and I apologize if i'm messing up your site.

Victoria, I was only pointing out that your conversation was off-topic and why I considered it so, not demanding a comment. I am aware that Keith can't decide for me, but this is a discussion board devoted to the existence of TK, so guess what's going to be discussed?
