The Black Box

Often times I have had a flood of random thoughts that seem to be spontaneous and out of control. But many may ask WTFH does this have to do with TK? Well nothing, but it may be something underlying. My random thoughts have even invented things without my knowing (sound odd talk to everyone that knows me). How odd is it to wake up and be able to Draw a theoretical matter/antimatter reactor with near perfect specs? I don't know, just how I experience ideas.

But for the subject of TK there is something in all of us, Called the Black Box, referred to much as the Sub-Mind (please insert correct spelling for contiuos in mind). Many real studies have found it to be many times more powerful then such things as the frontal lobe. In dreams the part of our mind becomes dominant. But we have no idea what is going on. And dreams are no better because it is like watching a movie, passive. But once, just once, I awoke in this dream and could control it, I did nothing at the time but someone else might. With the power of the full mind there is only one thing left.

BTW, if you have TK wth is the point? All who say they can move the wheel YIPPEE! Who cares? Can you lift a car? another person? yourself? or even a pencil for that matter? no... and please don't enlighten me with a story about how you did. To just be blunt humans can alter static fields, go check out some of the fun research.

To conclude I will say something odd. Well about like 2000 years to 1500 years ago everyone thought that humans constantly made new blood, a single logical conclusion was made, we don't take in about 20 gallons worth of food everyday. It is this concept I apply to this subject. The human brain and the body can simply not produce enough energy to move anything significantly. And any real energy is lost in the space between you and the object. Bye.

RE: The Black Box

When you control your dreams, it's called 'lucid dreaming'. Well technically, it means that you know you're dreaming.
But typically you can control it from there on.
If you want more help/info on it, check out the forums at www.dreamviews.com

Out of interest, until fairly recently scientists also denied the existence of lucid dreams and consigned them to the kooky. Just like TK.

How did they prove it?, Placebo? I presume they didn't just take the patient's word for it?

RE: The Black Box

No of course not.
As you might know, during REM (stage of sleep where most dreaming takes place), the only body part that is reliably outside of paralysis is the eyes.
Hence 'rapid eye movement'

So they developed a protocol involving lights and eye movements.
Unfortunately the only sources I have for you on this is wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream

I see there that they also did some neurological studies on it.

I wasn't going to reply on this but sometimes it just amazes me how you guys talk about the brain, but like... Just say stuff that doesn't make sense and hope the people don't get it because you use scientific words...
Aaaaanyways, the frontal lobe... is just 1 of the 4 lobes of the brain... I'm getting the idea you're using frontal lobe as the "conscious" part, but this is not true. There aren't specific parts labeled: Conscious/Subconscious in the brain allright? Stop saying stuff like that, it's driving me insane... Just read a LITTLE, just a BIT of neuroscience or psychology whatever... Here i'll give you a link: http://brainmind.com/ You can find anything you want to know here. Just read it or even watch a lecture. I think you'll pretty much get the idea why TK doesn't exist if you read something about the brain... It would be useless anyways... The body functions so perfectly, why would the "creator (whatever)" add a skill like TK, while we have arms and legs... I mean, what would he want's us to use it for? It's not like it's helpfull or anything. Is it gonna help us out in the nature, where we're supposed to use all of our abilities, yeah sure, we got legs to run and move our bodies, arms for picking stuff up, eyes to see, ears to hear... TK to spin a psi wheel... gosh, thanks god... I could use my finger instead but if it makes you happy, i'll train 5 times a day just to figure that out OR i could have SEXXXX! Ok that's it, im horny, byeeeee!

RE: The Black Box

This "Lucid Dreaming" I had never heard of this prior to reading the original post, i just feel the need to say i have experienced it, well at least i think so i made a decision whilst sleeping well im not so sure it was a desicision infact or just me being aware of the fact i was about to wake up for no apparent reason anyway as far as i can remember i told myself i was goin to wake up, i have also had dreams where i have fell and woke up with a stomach turning feeling now i dont know much about this (despite the amount of "information" i hear on it) does anybody actually know why that feeling occurs? also would my decision to wake be classed as "Lucid Dreaming"

RE: The Black Box

I experience lucid dreams all the time. The only problem is once I figure out Im dreaming and start to focus in on objects in my dream I begin to slowly wake up.I hardly ever get through an entire night without waking at least twice. Its pretty cool though to be able to focus in on the details of a dream and even have some small amount of control over your sleeping thoughts.
I had a dream once where I was standing on a lawn and when I realized I was dreaming I got down on my hands and knees to see if I could focus on a single blade of grass.I was able to but I soon woke up.
