Telekinesis in the Bible

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea'; and it would obey you.

Matt. 17:20 And He *said to them, "Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you.

Ok, that may not be what you think of when you think of TK, but it is what I think of. Faith in god and yourself is true TK, and if you say that isn't TK, then tell me what TK is.

RE: Telekinesis in the Bible

TK is a byproduct of our overactive imaginations, no more real than Spiderman, the Hulk, or ET?

RE: Telekinesis in the Bible

Ok, so TK isn't real, but faith is! So that must mean that TK is actualy faith, so this is mearly a case of mislabeling something. Like calling a strawberry a berry when it is not a berry, or even a fruit.

So now my question is, can faith and TK be considered the same thing in the grand scheme of things? Is believing you can move something enough to move it, and I don't just mean regular, everyday kind of faith, but complete, whole hearted, undying faith. Can you aply your faith to move mountains?

What does it matter what you call it?
You can call it Cecil for all the difference it makes, you still won't get anything to move.

RE: Telekinesis in the Bible

I always thought the whole mountain moving thing was a metaphor. I'm such a dummy.
