Posted By: Delphinus Posted On: Oct 29, 2007 Views: 782 | Anything Goes... Hey there, I decided to post a new topic, where here we can discuss anything from TK to levitation to movies to books to music to anything that's on your mind... At the moment, I was wondering about levitation... What do you think the chances of it being real? |
Posted By: xeoncat Posted On: Nov 5, 2007 Views: 759 | RE: Anything Goes... from the historical documentation I read on that, no event really convinced me. the first well documented story of levitation is Joseph of Cupertino (XVII century i think), which ironically became the saint patron of pilots, lol. it is of note that some meditational masters can alter their weight, but as impressive that may be, it doesn't count as psychokinesis. it is an incredible form of own biology manipulation. |

I know levitation is just rumours, i was just curious if there was any solid proof... lol!! that is ironic! Interesting... how would one alter their body weight? I mean who would need pills and exercise right? :) |
Posted By: xeoncat Posted On: Nov 5, 2007 Views: 754 | RE: Anything Goes... one of the theories about why macroscopic psychokinetic effects are rare is because the structures in our brain that have a key role in these effect are underdeveloped. I don't know how they alter weight, I hadn't time to research throughly about that, but there's nothing paranormal about it, that I'm sure. |

Posted By: Delphinus Posted On: Nov 6, 2007 Views: 742 | RE: Anything Goes... Lol!! It's still fascinates me the potential our brains can have and yet we neglect it's capacity... Any theories on how we can open up our brains for it to use it's full potential? |
Posted By: xeoncat Posted On: Nov 7, 2007 Views: 740 | RE: Anything Goes... you already use your brains at full potential, I guess. but as a very complex system, the central nervous system is extremelly adaptative and flexible. |
