Science as a Religion

No person has exclusivity on absolute truth.

If they claim too, we should turn and run as fast as we can as they are as dangerous as an Evangelical religious fanatic who claims all will perish unless we believe as they do.

Scientists agreed from the beginning of time that the universe was calm and unchanging until September 1929.

In 1929 Edwin Hubble, used the newly constructed Palomar's 200-inch Hale Telescope, Hubble was the first to use it.

He was able to discover that the Universe was, in fact expanding at an enormous rate and that galaxies outside our own Milky Way were all moving away from us, each at a speed proportional to its distance from us.

In 1929 this was a revolutionary discovery and flew in the face of widely accepted foregone "Scientific" conclusions.

Therefore, it is safe to say that "Science" is only as accurate as the technology used to measure and observe our surroundings.

RE: Science as a Religion

There is certainly nothing complicated about this topic. The point is that for those who invest there complete faith, yes I used the word FAITH, in science and mankind’s best efforts to understand the observable and hidden world we occupy, they must be cognizant of the fact that much of what we know, if not all, is directly correlated to the advancement of technology, or lack thereof.
