I believe your right, it's rediclious to belive that you can move things with your mind, it's witche's stuff just like Astrology and all the other stuff. i used to read it all before untill i had a realisation that this is all rubbish and you should stop doing it righ now before it over takes what you should really believe in. I'm applying this verse from the King James Bible and it applys to witchcraft. why not just follow Jesus instead and he will give you the power to move things.

For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use]
not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve
one another. {5:14} For all the law is fulfilled in one word,

I think we have to be very careful here. You are happy to say that TK is rubbish but believe in Jesus. Both are based on nothing but belief.

That is interesting. Believing in the Bible and not TK.

I would like to point out to everyone the similarities between both of these.

1. If not for other people you would know nothing of TK or Religion. Kinda like if my mother hadn't read me the stories I would never have heard of mother goose.

2. Both are firmly placed on belief with out proof. Religion gets away with it by saying we need faith without proof. TK gets away with it by not being provable.

I like religion, laws come from religion, and without laws we would have alot of stupid people doing stupid things. Don't get me wrong, I do not believe in god, I am a naturalist in the sense that I believe what I see. The lion kings circle of life if you will.

But why is it so hard for people to grasp the POSSIBILITY that we are a happy accident? I accept the possibility I may be wrong about god, but believers do not. Instead they waste their lives living in misery not truly knowing if it is real or not. (by misery I mean not doing things you want to do, like premarital sex)

And TK, why do people fight the possibility that it does or does not exist. I mean remove the whole e=mc2 equation and its possible. So is time travel, and the that I might one day sleep with Beyonce.

There is a possibility of everything, but probability not so much. Great discoveries are the ones made when probablity is against you and you still pull it off. But as the probability gets smaller (IE proving TK exists or proving god exists) cultist mentallitys grow bigger. And yess I think all religions are a cult by its trueist definition.

By The Way, if you truly want to quote the bible, do it in the oldest hebrew or aramaic text you can find, then translate it word for word and see if says anything close to your NKJ version.

I don't exactly understand your point. I do not see many similarities between PK and magic at all. One is a supposed mental talent, the other is an attempt to gain favor over spirits/gods/etc. I also do not see how you use the Bible to conclude that they are rubbish. The Bible says not to practice witchcraft, that seems to imply that witchcraft is real. Why would God say "it is evil to practice this stuff that doesn't work,"? Might as well add, "Do not use x-ray vision to see naked ladies," to the list, as well as any other imaginary power that God wouldn't want you to do.

Hey, I think you are misunderstanding the whole "God doesn't want His people to practice witchcraft" thing.

Yes. He told us that witchcraft is real. But He told us not to take part in it. It's EVIL! I don't really see what you are arguing.

And to those who don't believe in God: Explain to me how life came from nonlife?

And while there ARE Christians who believe on blind faith, there are still a great lot of us who believe BECAUSE WE KNOW THE TRUTH!

Even Antony Flew, a man famous for his anti-religious beliefs, was forced to change his views on there being a superior being BASED ON SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE! I suggest you read "There is a God" by Antony Flew.

You absolutely do not "KNOW THE TRUTH" that there is a God, you just believe there is, no matter how strong your conviction. Until you understand that simple fact there is no point in anyone attempting a discussion with you, we may as well talk to a brick, in fact that would be preferable as we wouldn´t have to listen to a load of very predictable dogma.

I for one do bealive in the bible, but I have to say to the original poster, your just down right arragant. Wicca isent evil, it just is a diffrent life style/belife then our own. Infact if you knew anything at all about the -real- Wicca, hence "Witch craft" you'd know for a fact it is one of the most peaceful religons/belifes in the world.

Here is some hard fact though, somthing you might not like to hear but can prove yourself in history books.

1. Wicca/wiccans/warlocks. Whatever you call them, are not evil. Infact they're belifes are ALOT like christanitie, just diffrent in practice. Look it up.

2. The catholic church in the past DEMONIZED them, easly. The pentagram that everyone takes as a sign of the devil was made by them. They placed the Wiccan start which was the sign of there goddess within a circle and proclaimed it as it is today.

3. The catholic church has done more evil then Wicca..yes..it's true..Paladin knights -dark ages-, book burnings, THE WITCHS HAMMER, a book on witch hunting. The bloodyest book in history, a book responsabul for hundreds upon hundreds of murdered females. Both old and younge.

Everything I posted is fact and can be found in history books, the internet where ever. The reason I kept using teh Catholic church as a example is so you had somthing to relate to. I bealive in god, I am a christan. But I get so ****ed when people treat a entire belife system of people like this.

There is no proof for God. If he did exist, why does he let people die when they don't want to? Why hasn't he come down to stop the non believers attacking the believers?

Oh, and Witchcraft, I agree, is much less evil than Christianity.
Christians generally hate and burn Witches, but Witches are generally peaceful towards Christians, except for when burned o.O

ok first of all the person above me is a jackass and obviously knows nothing about the bible. the people that burned the witches in the witch hunt were NOT christians. they might have claimed they were doing the right thing, but in truth it went completely against the bible.
get your facts straight before you make a dumbass comment like that.

and if you believe in God like me, then you also believe that anything is possible. Magic is only evil to christians because God says very clearly dont do it. For someone who doesnt believe in God, then magic is perfectly ok to them. The reason most athiests are religion bashers, is because it hurts their brains to think that anything outside their basic understanding is not real. guess what, people didnt think the invention of computers to be even the slightest bit possible, and here we are with computers the size of our palms.

so just because something isnt proven (yet, or never) does not mean it isnt real.


and also at the person above me, the reason God doesnt come down and save everyone, is because if he did then they would never have free will. he lets there be good and evil because if there wasnt, then we would be robots. He wanted us to have free will, so he let there be evil and good. think of it this way. does someone that you force to sleep with you one night, really mean that they love you? the same thing goes with why God let there be evil and good. he wanted us to have a choice to love him

well your 76% wrong because of there are people on earth today and people in 1,000 bc are diffrents just like in the 1,000 bc they didnt know there ws as aids or maybe its 2010 wake up many thing can happen ''NOW U DAYS''
