RE: RE: telekinesis

if you are aware that someone is looking at you even if you dont see it,its a feeling that is not part of your main sense, vision ,sound, touch, etc. if you are aware and concouse its that feeling. sorry for any bad spelling.

RE: telekinesis

In every test I have seen regarding people knowing if they are being looked at or not the results have always found only average chance correct guesses, nothing more.
So what results are you referring to?

RE: telekinesis

Thanks for the links.
I undestand what you are talking about now.
This guy is not a scientist, he is someone who is into weird stuff, this is a review about his work on the second link you gave -

"Well-known for his controversial and revolutionary theory of "morphic resonance" and "morphogenetic fields," Sheldrake applied this to his subject with ingenious questions that have resulted in confirmation that animals do indeed possess psychic and intuitive abilities. You'll also hear astonishing stories involving parrots, termites, and farm animals that will have you looking at the animal kingdom in a whole new light."

Thanks, but no thanks, psychic animals? I´ll stick to the facts.

RE: telekinesis

hi keith, all i can say is he is a phd at trinity college Cambridge, i know cos i live in Cambridge. and the experiments he performed stood up to scientific analisis from other renowned scientists around the world and he also writes for the sceptic magazine. i think that millions of people beleive in god, all over the world without proof he existed, and with the evidence of evolution staring them in the face with only faith to guide them, im sorry not trying to convert you, i do respect your veiw of things but i want to beleive with an open mind and a sceptical eye.

kind regards Gez..........................

" and the experiments he performed stood up to scientific analisis from other renowned scientists around the world "

You would need to give me details of the "other renowned scientits" because I consider Sheldrake to be a crank.

RE: telekinesis

I doubt anyone discussing on this website is about to discuss something valuable on topics of "paranormal" or metascientific stuff because adult minds are so conditioned to the material world and the supposed Laws of physical reality by family, media, daily ritual, and an apparent erosion of areas of the brain which are sensitive to actions in the ether, darkness, or outside of time.

Most of you here interested in the paranormal will not make the sacrifices necessary to gain access to new perspective or experience because of sex or other material concerns.

RE: telekinesis

Humans are conditioned to believe in things that do not exist in order to survive. The logic can be summed up in the following example:

Two cavemen miles apart are keeping watch at night to protect their family. They both hear a noise in the bushes nearby. Caveman A assumes it's a dangerous animal and assumes a protective position. Caveman B assumes it's just the wind and ignores it. Either it's a dangerous animal or just the wind, but eventually it's going to be the dangerous animal at least once. Caveman A will survive to have children promoting the same gene pool as well as teachings. Caveman B will feed the jungle cat so it will have children and carry on its line.

RE: telekinesis

Caveman B will not have kidz cuz he is dead eaten by jungle cat

and his entire family are all dead too

no offspring no gene carried on

everyone will eventually die anyway but isn't it better if we can someday breakout from this NORMALITY

if u stop believing then everything would be swallowed by NORMAL, your life and your soul too
