foolishness

I am 5' 10' 190 lbs. and carved out of granite. I am a phsysical spectacle, and there is only one reason. My mind first saw the end result, and I than became it. That is the only example that I am aware of wherein a human mind has been directly responsible for altering organic matter.

RE: foolishness

Carved out of granite, amazing. Did you get someone else to type out your message or are you made out of special flexible granite?

RE: foolishness

Yes, I was being sarcastic, what did you expect from your comments, and intelligent reply? Say something intelligent and you may get an intelligent response.

I was planning on being another Einstein but I guess I must have lost focus. Damn it.

RE: RE: foolishness

Let me stand in the middle ground here. Keith has a point that your comment sounds pretty ridiculous. In the scientific and logical arena, your argument only sounds worse if you speak arrogantly and offer no reasoning. But on the other hand, you do have a point. Although, I would have to disagree with your statement in the literal sense. Simply thinking and using thought can in no way alter the material universe in a literal way. But, I would agree that the material universe you experience is directly related to the state of mind you are in and the attitude you have about your desires. I have noticed a considerable amount of significant synchronicities as I have begun to shift my state of mind towards a greater sense of connectedness to the universe. Realizing we are all made of entirely the same thing and all that exists in the universe has and always will be connected to each other has improved my life in immeasurable ways. Your attitude and mindset throughout life causes you to seek out that which you desire. Most of the time you are unaware that you are even doing this, but you will and do receive what your mind desires. Your state of mind has tremendous influence on your behavior and your actions are simply material realizations of your mind's (specifically, the ego's) drive to fulfill its desires. You may disagree, but simply denying the truth that we are all one is a great ignorance. The whole universe is one existence. It has one universal consciousness that is fundamentally simplistic yet brilliantly intelligent. Look at it this way, the entire universe is built upon fractal organization. For example, an atom is a self-sufficient structural unit of a molecule; a cell is a self-sufficient structural unit for the organism; the organism is a self-sufficient structural unit for the species; the species is a unit for all biotic life; the earth is a unit for the solar system; the solar system a unit for the galaxy. This is an excellent example of fractal radiation. And it is found abundantly throughout the universe; everywhere there is a fractal. And inducing from this argument, it is the case that consciousness radiates fractally as well. It is harder to realize because many consider consciousness to be our capacity to experience. But all that exists has some form of experience and I define consciousness as the capability of experience. Also to think about it better, think of the collective consciousness of humanity. Each individual human contributes pieces of knowledge and bits of data to the whole collective species. Our collective knowledge is stored, exchanged, analyzed, and integrated in our collective conscious just as individual knowledge is stored, exchanged, analyzed, and integrated in our conscious brain. This is my argument for universal oneness and universal consciousness. Now to apply this to your statement, since we are all one conscious at a fundamental level, our upper level individual consciousness influences and is influenced by the fundamentally simple consciousness that unites as all. And so, to align your thoughts and desires with path the universe has already set forth for you will make your experience of reality far greater. There need not be any struggle, fear, pain, stress, hatred, ignorance, or any negative emotion or desire whatsoever. When you realize we are all one unimaginably complex and beautiful reality that is the universe there is nothing but nirvana. Sounds insane, but this has been known for thousands of years. The philosophers of Ancient Greece professed that the best life is one of "contemplating the universal truths." In other words, to be in awe of the existence and reality and to understand that it is unimaginably perfect and complete. Buddhist monks and the whole of Eastern philosophy had this same knowledge as well. I know while reading this you are fighting to resist, your ego is telling you that you are an individual. Your ego wants to continue telling itself a story of individual experience and have maintain a unique indentity. But trust in what I am saying, I do not believe in that which I cannot provide clear evidence and logical reasoning. I maintain a strict adherence to refraining from claiming knowledge without a clear, logically sound argument. I do not think this relates to what you have said but I thought it was important to say this anyway.
