But I look at it this way: People believe in religions. A diety's existance in a religion cannot be scientifically proven, and any occurances in the world pertaining to a religion have never been proven real. (I may be wrong about nothing being proven where religious phenomenon occurred. If i am wrong, please enlighten me. No sarcasm, honest request.) |

My religion is Asatru, and I have firm belief in my dieties. I accept that the Norse Gods has not be proven real, just as I accept that TK has not been proven real. It does not mean it is non-existant, it only means that it is somewhat comparable to a religion, either you believe in it, or you dont, and if you have proof that it is real, than all the better. |

As TK has never been demonstrated, and it could be if it existed,then why on Earth should we be expected to believe it? |

If you're so much as bashing footage (i am not saying these are real) of telekinesis demonstrations, then you should also have the balls to bash the Bible. The Bible was written by man. Footage of TK is also created by man. Has God ever showed Himself to you? No, i didn't think so. He's never showed Himself to me, but i choose to believe in Him. Same way as TK has never been proven. Think about it. God could bask in the glory if He were to show up in the middle of New York. People would be throwing themselves at Him. But where is he, physically? It would be damn easy for a dude like Him to go and do whatever He wants here on earth, don't you think? And before you go there, I am NOT comparing God to man. Oh no, sir. I am just saying that your argument of religion not being comparable with TK is invalid. I-N-V-A-L-I-D. PS To the poster above me, you are a loser for giving up so easily. The existence of God can only be proven if he exists and decides to show himself, it is not something that we have any control over. However, with TK we do have control of proving its existence, we can simply demonstrate it, providing it exists of course. As we have the situation of thousands (of mostly school kids) claiming they have TK it would be a very simple for them to demonstrate it, very simple. As TK has never been demonstrated we can safely say it does not exist. There is no fault in the logic of my argument. |
