Because if not a single person has ever proven they can do telekinesis then that means that the phenomena referred to as telekinesis is merely an urban legend. Thousands of people also claim to have seen Elvis still alive, yet none of them can ever prove it. The point is, just because countless people claim an urban legend is true doesn't make it so, no matter how many of them claim it. From what I've read, young people who claim to have done telekinesis in their basements/bedrooms aren't really doing telekinesis but are simply doing tricks that are based not on telekinesis but common scientific principals. Claiming something and proving it are two entirely different things. |

Yes, the "TK" that kids perform in their bedrooms is, as you say, just normal physics at work. The problem is they are too ignorant about physics to realise it. |

Very good point, they have had tests supposedly to prove telekinesis real before in other countries but I read it off here on the internet and I'm pretty sure that the claim that the tests even happened are bull **** let alone that they were positive. |

Sorry, but no matter how you examine it, TK (or God for that matter) will never have a burden of proof. You all speak about physics and science, but what does science do? It attempts to understand the natural realm and the reactions that take place in it. Supreme beings and psychic phenomenon are considered to be supernatural. The prefix "super" simply means "above". You already know what "natural" means...at least you should. So, let's put our thinking caps on and put two and two together. "Supernatural" simply describes something above or higher than the laws of nature and physics. You can't demand scientific proof for something supernatural, as it is above nature. You can believe, you can disbelieve, or you can be skeptical, but it's an ad ignorantiam fallacy to say that a lack of evidence proves non-existence. If you limit your own capacity by a restricting personal belief system, then you will never know what you are truly capable of. Let's keep an open mind, shall we? =) |
