To put it bluntly...

Hey Keith I decided to come visit again after being gone for a while and I read the new topics and comments. I am gonna put something bluntly. I personally do not believe in TK anymore. I used to, but not anymore. You know what though? You have been running this site for years now and the answer has not been decided! There is over 5,000 comments and still no official answer. The argument over TK is a bloodbath were nothing ever gets settled. People who can't even spell come on here saying TK is real. Some educated people come here staying middle ground or being a skeptic. In the end, it doesn't matter because nothing is going to be settled. Unless somehow TK is real and someone proves it, it is going to be an endless argument. If it is fake as I believe, it will never stop because the burden of proof will never be accounted for.
Thanks for your time, have a good day.

RE: To put it bluntly...

Hi,
I am glad you have seen the light! As for your remark that after years of running this board nothing has been decided, I think it has.
After all these years and all these posts and me saying that until TK has been officially demonstrated we cannot accept it exists, it has still not been demonstrated.
If TK existed it would have course been demonstrated many times over, the fact that it hasn't shows that it does not exist. People who come on and claim they have TK are wasting their time because it means nothing at all, just empty talk. The Internet is full of people saying they have TK, so why don't they prove it? The answer is obvious!

RE: To put it bluntly...

To put it bluntly...it is interesting how you claim that telekinetic abilites are rubbish and unverifiable without any proof that they are. Sure, a correlation between the claimants of telekinesis and fruitless results might exist, but it is still ad ignorantiam for both the proponents and skeptics of psychic phenomenon to assert that it can be proven or disproven due to lack of substantial evidence on both sides. I only believe it is possible because of a personal experience I had when I was younger, and it is not logical or reasonable to pass it off as a coincidence. However, I can't prove that it occured, and you can't prove that it did not. As for now, it is simply a matter of personal belief. I don't like to limit myself.

RE: To put it bluntly...

Anyone can come on here and claim anything they like, such as flying to Mars or levitating a battle ship, but ALL claims are worthless talk unless proven. If you want to believe it that is your choice, I just hope you never get to sit on a jury.

I am actually the reason gravity exsists. I was tired of floating around in outerspace so I decided to create a giant mass of rocks and water, and hold everyone and everything against it's surface! No need to thank me, just thank "telekinesis"

A long delayed reply. Look, this is how burden of proof works. The person claiming that magical dust fairies are floating around is the one who must give proof for it. Until the people claiming they have telekinesis prove it (I won't be holding my breath for that)us skeptics are automatically right.

Do you have to smoke the willies to escape the natural ones? I'll bet you do.
