Poll result

Wow, I didn't imagine that such a large part of the poll voters believe in TK.

Why believe in anything that has only been disproved since the beginning? There is no indications at all that it should be possible. It's absurd.

RE: RE: Poll result

the proof I have found has come from my own experiances.

I know it sounds horribly cliched, but at the moment the only way you can determin 100% whether it exists or not is through your own experiances.

After all,why wait for someone else to determin the answer for you.It really is a classic case of a "get off your asses or do without" situation

RE: Poll result

I wouldn't take too much notice of the poll results because the majority of people that will be attracted to a site about telekinesis are bound to believe in it. If you did a proper survey across the population the results would be very different, TK would most likely be in the minority because in reality most people you meet or know do not believe in it.
Funnily enough the majority of emails I receive do not support TK.

RE: Poll result

@ Dynamos.

It is not clear to me if you mean that you have the ability yourself or that you have experienced someone else perform TK.

If it is yourself then a million dollars await :-)

RE: Poll result

they are my own abilities, however I'm far too young for the jref challenge, nor do I have the media recognition (nor desire it) so I am unelligable.however in 4-5 years we'll see

RE: Poll result

Dynamus. Before the 4-5 years have passed you will have matured sufficiently to realise that what you are experiencing is not in fact TK, I guarantee it. Read my article on it to show what is really going on when your psi wheel or whatever moves. If you join any Internet TK group you will very quickly discover that virtually all the members are school age, you have to ask yourself why that is, many cannot even spell or put a sentence together. By a certain age, which varies with intelligence, people stop believing in it because they come realise they do not have TK and nor does anyone else. $1,000,000 up for grabs, hello!!!!

RE: Poll result

I am well aware of how easily the psi wheel is affected, which is why I don't use it. and you're right most are young and easily influenced by movies, anime, and videogames.however even with the evidence against it I've seen enough to be convinced that there is some phenomena taking place.

As for those who see no way of it even being possible,a year ago it was commonly held that it was physically impossible for an object to go faster than the speed of light.yet we recently measured a particle traveling faster than the speed of light.

RE: Poll result

The faster than light particle is still very much in dispute! But anyway that has nothing to do with TK. Even if someone proved the sun went round the Earth that would have no bearing on TK. If TK existed it could be demonstrated today, now, regardless of what was happening to other theories. TK has been claimed to exist for decades so why do you think no one has ever been able to demonstrate it? It doesn't take much working out! However, no matter what I say you will continue to believe you have TK, until you grow up. Until then just try and be realistic and do proper controlled tests, if you know how to.

RE: Poll result

I keep as many controls on my experiments as my limited rescources allow

RE: Poll result

It does not take any "resources" in order to put controls into testing TK. For instance, if you think you can move a psi wheel then simply make a list in advance of the test of ten times you will move the wheel either clockwise or anticlockwise. Your list will read say A,A,C,C,C,A,C,A,A, All you have to do then is move the wheel in those directions in that order. In order to count as a rotation it must make one full rotation in that direction, not just a wobble that you interpret as a rotation. As a control have a second wheel near to your wheel, this is a control wheel that should not move. Carry out this test satisfactorly and you can claim TK. It will not happen though, I guarantee it. However, if you do have TK then it would be a simple thing to do. It doesn't matter if the psi wheel is not something you normally use, the point is if you have TK then you should be able to move a small scrap of paper balanced on a pin as well as whatever it is you claim to be able to move.
This is how you carry out a controlled test, and this is why so many kids think they have TK, they do not carry out controlled tests, they see a piece of paper wobble and claim they have TK. Silly isn't it! This is why as they get older and wiser they realise the don't have it.

RE: Poll result

there is a problem with that experiment, the second psi wheel would be effected by the movement of the first,so it would be nearly impossible to keep it from spinning, perhaps even a full rotation.unless you expect me to counteract the forces while moving the psi wheel.I'm pretty good but that's a pretty big stretch however you've made an interesting point so I'll give it a go and record my results

but I have a feeling that won't sway your opinion much

RE: Poll result

Don't bother with the second wheel then, but even then you will still not be able to do it I can guarantee. It will take a lot (if ever) to convince you that you do not have TK because you so desperately want to believe you do and you obviously have never used controls before. You firmly believe it and so will make lots of silly excuses why you cannot do the controlled test, happens every time, heard them all.

sorry for the delayed response.I'll run the experiment tonight,to keep my family from interfering.and I'll record and post my results sometime tomorrow.
