levitation

I have been running this board for years now and have become bored with reading the same old lame excuses for why people refuse to demonstrate their amazing power of TK and claim the James Randi $1,000,000 prize fund. Instead I wish to draw your attention to something even more amazing. During my years of research I often followed up on interesting leads to see where they would end up, usually nowhere. However just once I came across something interesting. I went to see a man in London who claimed he could levitate. The reason I went to see him was because he promised to give a demonstration, and I live near London. True to his word he gave a demonstration, not just for me but in front of a crowd of us. It was amazing! He levitated to a hight of at least ten feet and even went through hoops to prove there was no wires supporting him. I consider myself smart enough to spot how most tricks are done, but could not find any explanation at all for how he did it, not even after thinking about it for some considerable time. He even demonstrated an amazing ability of TK by moving various objects around just by pointing at them. He moved them over our heads, under a table and all over the place. Incredible!
He was so amazing I will definitely go and see his next show, the ticket prices were not too expensive.
Think about that and then consider that many people are convinced of TK because they have seen it done on a YouTube home made video. What a joke! Let's also not forget all those idiots that get really annoyed just because I refuse to take their word for it that they can move stuff around with TK. Unbelievable!
If you can do it then prove it. If you can't prove it then shut the hell up!

RE: levitation

Keith, would you please clarify, or do a follow-up on that levitation 'show'. I can't tell if you are claiming to have seen the show exactly as described and expecting others to consider it as factual. Or are you making some subtle mockery of supernatural powers? It would be very strange not to investigate, after seeing such a show.

RE: levitation

You don't get it. No, it was not a real show, I was making a point and I would have thought the point was obvious. It would be to any sensible person! Have you not seen shows by illusionists such as David Copperfield, even just on TV? He can make a train dissapear or the Statue of Liberty and can levitate himself over the audience back and forth seemingly unsupported. We do not bother to investogate these apparent miracles because we know they are tricks, which is why he calls himself an illusionist. People that purport to do TK on the Internet are no different which is why I have posted my own vids of me doing'TK'.
It doesn't exist, get used to it.

RE: levitation

Thanks for responding. I just wasn't sure.
I guess the part that threw me was describing the event as something you actually went to see, rather than seeing a viddie.
Anyway, sorry for casting any doubt about your position. Great work and supreme patience regarding your whole site.

RE: levitation

The reason I described the events as a live show instead of a video on the Internet is that videos are too easy to use to show fake TK, they are in fact pointless to use as proof of anything and I wanted to make a point. However, I have seen 'TK' demonstrated live by a professional magician right in front of me, he took my credit card and spun it round unsupported in the air. He happens to be my friend's son but would not reveal how the trick was done, it was very convincing and I am sure TK supporters would be convinced it was real TK. I have also been to a show where the illusionist levitated above the stage, again in a very convincing way. So the events that I had described as seeing at a live show was in fact what I had seen at a show plus at a dinner function.
I still get people email me to say they can do TK, almost always spin a psi wheel. I may as well talk to the wall!
