| Posted By: stuidjones Posted On: Sep 20, 2004 Views: 1266 | RE: Canadians what does rap have to do with anything? i'm not a big fan, but i like some of it. as for the bad grammar, every good genre of poetry has bad grammar, going back to shakespear. that's all lyrics are--poetry set to music or a beat. it's self expression, and if you'd take the time to listen to some rap that's not the lead singles (which i'll admit are mostly about partying, shooting people, and bragging about the size of their penis), most rap artists' write a lot of songs from the heart, and reveal a little bit of their soul, and who they really are. as for the ball grabbing, it's just part of the show, loosen up. ozzy bit the head off a bat, prince humped the stage, and eminem grabs his balls. get over it |
