Most of the Latin sources that detail their incursion into mainland Europe were terrified of the Vikings, and for good reason. The Vikings one of the most throrough legal systems during the High Middle Ages and many of the convicted felons were forced to leave for years at a time. As you may have already guessed, only a small fraction of troublemakers were raiding the shores of Europe at the time while the majority of law abiding Vikings lived an agriculturally diverse civilized society.

It's just a fun idea that I fit into the ledgend. I'm a SPACE PIRATE, I raid in a more sophistocated manor, and have my own beliefs. Vikings are just cool.
