'Singles' by far

You can tell the general age group of those who post here. Anyone in at least their teens during the 90's would most certainly pick 'Singles' as the best movie soundtrack. It defined the grunge era. The entire movie was written around the music practically!

I was in my teens in the 90's, and I can't even recall what that movie is. I chose Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.

I was in my late teens/early twenties in the early 90s and have never heard of Singles either.

are you kidding me? Singles was the best psude-independent movie of the 90's. Kind of a docu-drama. Matt Dillon, Bridget Fonda, Bill Pullman, even Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell were in it for ^&*%$ sake....directed by Cameron Crowe...how could you not know this movie?? The sound track included the best grunge and alternative bands of the 90's.

well, considering Dragonmaster is under twenty something, and the movie is 12 years old... dragon master would be from 9 to 15 years old. it peaked faster than the music, so I'm not surprised dragonmister doesn't know crap

Think about it like this. The local "alternative" radio station here in KC still has songs from the Singles soundtrack in regular rotation. It's a beautiful thing. I loved the movie, love all things Cameron Crowe and the soundtrack. This coming from someone who was 16 when the movie came out.
