The way I figure it, the people who put the original color in there were paid to do so. If I change it, It'll probably just look ugly. Unless it was ugly in the first place, in which case I'll probably just change it. |
Posted By: Behemoth Posted On: Oct 8, 2004 Views: 2715 | multi color changing I like it when game include changing the color of different parts of the screen like FF&, you can really play around with it to get a cool color rush effect, Although changing the color of a window in an rpg is not a first priority, i usually do it when i'm stuck, or just plain bored... |
Posted By: Uriel Posted On: Oct 8, 2004 Views: 960 | Colors I love how Wild ARMs has so many options to change its look. After I finish the character intros & all 3 are in the same party, I change EVERYTHING for the next hour or 2. In Final Fantasy 7 I change the colors according to the current mood of in-game events. |

Posted By: Dalton of Zeal Posted On: Oct 6, 2004 Views: 1160 | Normally I keep the defaults, but.... Wild ARMs had a really neat window system. There were 4 default windows to choose from, but the best part was that you could edit the 16 color palette and even draw your own window design and borders! You could even draw your own icons for battle and menus! |
Posted By: Jimbob Posted On: Oct 6, 2004 Views: 1175 | Colors I try to pull off a good looking Green or Purple.... but sometimes i try for a darker blue. |
Posted By: Scarfdalek Posted On: Oct 5, 2004 Views: 1243 | Blue Also, in some games (FFIX) the default colour is so ugly you just have to change it. |
Posted By: Big Nutter Posted On: Oct 5, 2004 Views: 1027 | It's Colour not Color I make Different attemmts diffent Colours. In FF7 after Disk 1, I Make one Corner Red. Big Nutter Default Blue, Green, Pink... |
Posted By: Maximus1 Posted On: Oct 5, 2004 Views: 1023 | It's not a menu, it's a canvas :) FF 6 was the best in this category, allowing you to alter the color of every single part of eight sets... even set 8 looks okay with the right colors. Man, I must have spent like five hours on the window alone in that game. FF7 is pretty good for that too. |
