Black.

I always change my colours to black. 'Tis easier on the eyes; besides, I've never really cared.

I don't

I've never really changed them, but I do like the fact that the option is there. The way I figure it, the people who put the original color in there were paid to do so. If I change it, It'll probably just look ugly. Unless it was ugly in the first place, in which case I'll probably just change it.

multi color changing

I like it when game include changing the color of different parts of the screen like FF&, you can really play around with it to get a cool color rush effect, Although changing the color of a window in an rpg is not a first priority, i usually do it when i'm stuck, or just plain bored...

Colors

I love how Wild ARMs has so many options to change its look. After I finish the character intros & all 3 are in the same party, I change EVERYTHING for the next hour or 2.

In Final Fantasy 7 I change the colors according to the current mood of in-game events.

Normally I keep the defaults, but....

Wild ARMs had a really neat window system. There were 4 default windows to choose from, but the best part was that you could edit the 16 color palette and even draw your own window design and borders! You could even draw your own icons for battle and menus!

Blue

Also, in some games (FFIX) the default colour is so ugly you just have to change it.

It's not a menu, it's a canvas :)

FF 6 was the best in this category, allowing you to alter the color of every single part of eight sets... even set 8 looks okay with the right colors.

Man, I must have spent like five hours on the window alone in that game. FF7 is pretty good for that too.
